Threadbare Cider House - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Very cool spot with both indoor & outdoor seating. Outside has some lawn games, like Kan Jam, Cornhole, Connect 4, etc. We chose to sit outside: while it was a little buggy, we didn’t get any mosquitos bites. I definitely recommend getting a flight while here - they had a nice range of ciders to en
Cool spot - yummy food, great atmosphere, and delicious cider! We sampled 2 cider flights and really enjoyed the Farmhouse. Pizza was pretty good this was the Sweet Heat a good mix of spice and honey just wished it was a bit more well done. Wasn’t too busy on our Friday night dinner but it’s pretty
We were only in Pittsburgh for one night with our kids, so we decided to check this place out. It was great! Highly recommend the pizza with apples (I know it sounds weird, but it's delicious). The kids loved the magna tiles, lite Brite, and other toys. We tried a couple of different ciders and they
You have to support a local place that is doing something new and exciting. Pizza combinations that you've never heard of, cider that is reaching in new directions, and an incredible staff that make you feel welcome. This is a hidden gem.
We dined here on a Saturday evening in February after a tour of Penn Brewery. We did not have reservations but they were able to squeeze us in which was so nice and very much appreciated! We'll know next time that reservations on a Saturday evening are very much necessary. My sweet raspberry cider w
Great experience! The ciders were yummy, my favorites were the pear and peach tea. I got a gluten free pizza and the crust was good for gf! We had coupons for a free tour and tasting and though they weren’t offering tours they gave us an impromptu tour. Also, they were super friendly :)
It's a 5/5 for ciders and about 3/5 for pizza. Amazing choice of ciders, easy to find something for yourself. I'm definitely tempted to try more in future! Unfortunately pizza was disappointing, both the regular one and gluten free.
Came here recently with some family and friends for brunch and we left stuffed. We booked way in advance and got seated right by the glass door where we could watch the Cider tours. Our party ordered the cheese, meat plates and the sourdough french toast for appetizers. We cheese was so fresh and t
So good! A definite gem. Ciders are very well done and the pizzas are innovative and delicious! Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is a light and a little quirky. Highly recommend.
Really great brewery. The ciders were top-notch and food was so good. Wait staff was so friendly. Will definitely be going back!!!
I had a really great time at this place. The outdoor area where we sat was shady and not too hot on a sunny day. The service was friendly and very attentive. They did a great job making sure we had what we needed and refilled our waters several times without having to be asked, which I really apprec
My daughter and I just had our annual Mother/Daughter trip to Pittsburgh and Threadbare was on the top of our "must do again" list. We had reservations for Sunday brunch and it was wonderful! The mimosa flight was delicious as well as the breakfast pizza! LOVE all of their ciders!
A serendipitous encounter led my friend and me to Threadbare. We were drawn in by the promise of mead, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. From the inviting ambiance to the knowledgeable staff, the highlight was undoubtedly the mead flight. Each sample offered a unique journey, from sw
Have been here a few times and it’s become my wife and I’s go to casual anniversary dinner spot! The cider is great and always a good selection, but somehow the pizza is always the stand out for me. I think it still might be the best pizza I’ve ever had, and highly recommend a sampler flight or two
The ciders and Cajun pizza were really good. Pizza came out pretty fast and had a ton of flavour and a nice chewy crust. My only problem was having to ascend a very long uncovered wooden staircase in the wind and snow.. Kinda scary.
All good things to say! The different ciders here are really good. My favorite was the Sweet Pineapple followed by the Sweet Raspberry. Loved that you could try a flight which includes 4 ciders. The food menu was limited but don't let that deter you from trying this place. I ordered the bacon, brie,
I've been here many times. First time was a pop-up cat café courtesy of HAR. In addition to stopping in for personal visits, I have also been here for Carnegie Library's Battle of the Books. Staff is always super friendly, the pizza is delicious and prepared fresh with seasonal ingredients. I most r
I am kind of a cider fanatic and this has got to be one of my favorite cideries I've been to yet. All of their flavors of ciders are so tasty, my favorite being hey sweetie and the farmhouse cider. I'll definitely be taking several bottles of their cider home with me. Yum!
The pizza here is bomb! They're a bit short staffed so you might have to wait a bit, but the food and cider is delicious
