Thai Hana Restaurant

This place is great and affordable! I have been here many times and their food is always amazing. Not only that, they serve within 5-10 mins! This is compared to Szechuan Express next door. Szechuan serve very fast but their food isn't as good (I gave them a 3). Also, this is compared to Nicki's Thai Kitchen. I love Nicki's for the past four years and their food is amazing. Thai Hana opened last year and this restaurant is as good as Thai, except cheaper and serves faster. I recommend this place for lunch! My favorite dish is pad thai!

I ate here last night and my experience was phenomenal. I knew nothing about Thai food when I first walked into the doors of Thai Hana, so I was in need of assistance when I ordered. The woman who helped me seemed to be working as a waitress and a hostess. She gave me a fantastic suggestion and helped me through the ordering process. When the food came out, I was blown away. The presentation was really nice and the food was so, so good. It was amazing. I ate every single bite of my curry. Definitely the best meal and restaurant experience I've had in Oakland. I will certainly be returning to Thai Hana Thank you, Thai Hana staff.

Great Thai food in a cozy space. Lunch prices are cheaper than dinner for just about the same size servings. I have never had their sushi, but it looks good and is made fresh at a separate workstation in the dining room. I have only recently discovered this place, but the four different dishes I've had there have been good, and I hear from others that there really aren't any bad choices. Spice levels seem to vary pretty widely. Sometimes and 8 is and 8, sometimes it's a 5, and sometimes it's a 10+. I'm not bothered by that, though, as the food is really, really good!
