The best, most delicious food i have ever had in my entire life. I love the place so much!! The owners are so kind, sweet, and wonderful. The music playing is entrancing (but im a big classical fan, so may be biased), and THE FOOD! Did i mention the food? I want to live in the restaurant, it is so amazing, and so reasonably priced. I wish this family owned business the best, as they deserve it so much. Thank you!! Will be coming back again and again:)
Wonderful place to bring family for a nice quiet, intimate dinner or a date or friends. It's such a shame this place is a hidden gem.
Great food! Awesome service. Very friendly owners
Excellent food and service. Owner is very knowledgeable about GF options as well.
So not your usual Medditerranean cuisine. The hummus platter is always a great choice
Delicious food, tasty kabobs. As a Middle Eastern, I’m always picky about restaurant who serve kabobs and I have to say I found this place to be one of my favorite by far and the owner who is the chef also is very lovely and sweet. Highly recommended and I would be coming here a lot. Thank you for making me feel less homesick with your delicious food .
Sweet little place a few doors down from the apartment I moved into last month. Folks at the next table were raving about their food and I definitely agree. My simple dinner of falafel and grape leaves is delicious and exactly what I was looking for tonight.
The food is fresh and wonderful, especially the pita--if you've never had freshly-baked pita before, you'll be amazed at how different it is from the stuff sold in plastic bags. I've had lunch at Daphne's often and even ordered some of the pita for a party. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, and the outdoor seating area is lovely when the weather permits.
If you want a genuine Turkish restaurant experience this family owned restaurant will Satisfy all your needs . Owners are genuine people who truly care about their customers . Hospitality is one of a kind. Iskender kebab is the best I’ve hand in America . The taste the quality it reminded me of being In Turkey.
I come here once every two months or so: I get a craving for their meat dish. I highly recommend Iskender Kebab for dinner (great to share with another) or Adana Wrap for lunch. Their meat are grilled to order. Marinated perfectly and fresh. Every time. Extremely friendly service. Its BYOB!
This place!!! Found a tiny piece of Istanbul here. BYOB and sip on the patio with mixed appetizer sauces.
Fantastic little restaurant in Pittsburgh just a short drive from Phipps Conservatory. We went to Daphne Cafe on a rainy day. We ordered our food and got it almost immediately. We honestly waited for our food for no longer than 5 minutes. The waitress and the rest of the family who owns the place were really sweet.
We got some pita as an appetizer while we waited but we hadn't even finished the pita before our doner kebab (gyro) arrived. Wow, it was REALLY GOOD. Afterwards we got some green apple tea.
Everything tasted fantastic and the service was quick and kind. I only wish it hadn't been rainy cause they have a nice place to sit outside. I will definitely go back
Never lets you down. Get a gyro wrap and a mozzarella salad and it won’t disappoint. Their ingredients are top notch. I almost forgot, make sure you don’t leave without the rice pudding!
I've had a lot of Turkish food in my life, and I can comfortably say this is one of THE BEST I've had. Good, friendly service. GREAT food. Decent prices. Overall good experience.
I really love this place. The Iskender is amazing if you have a big appetite or if you want to take some home. For lunch try any of the paninis. They're all good.
I almost always get a side of fries. They're like old school McD fries before those ones got the weird aftertaste.
My only complaint is that they took the paninis off the dinner menu, but it just gives me an excuse to go in more often I guess.
This is a wonderful family-run establishment that serves up incredibly fresh, delicious food. For a treat after your meal, enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee and a piece of rich, flaky baklava.
