Amel's Restaurant - Pittsburgh - Photo album

The salads and dressing were prepared well. The artichokes with goat cheese and balsamic were delicious. Large menu with a variety of options. The staff was helpful with gluten free options.
My feeling is everything is better with feta ♥️ This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Today I ordered lunch and picked it up to take it home. Please be aware, if you see that delivery is available, that is a scam. Amel's is a dine-in or pick up restaurant only. They will not pay fees for a
I enjoyed this meal. Although I was very concerned about the pricing when I first arrived. If you talk to your waiter or take a knowledgeable friend (Thank you Barb) you can navigate this place for right around 20 a person. The gyro platter not only was a lot of food, it was well prepared, and fresh
My wife and I went there the first time back in 1968 on our first dinner date when we first dated. The same owners are still operating the restaurant and have maintained the overall greatness any independent owner could offer. We were just there last Friday night with two other couples and our frien
It was our first time there . Loved the food especially the mixed grilled kabobs. The staff was very friendly and helpful when recommending dishes to try We will be back .
This place is fantastic!! The food was great and it has a cozy atmosphere. I got the Aladdin pasta with chicken and my wife got the Berry Salmon. Will definately be returning.
A hidden gem in the South Hills of Pittsburgh! Fresh, homemade and amazing! Signature She Crab soup is worth the trip in its self!! Full bar with good beers on tap.
Very good food...I tried the pepper fettuccini and my wife had the lobster angels...The hummus was also very good! We didn't like very much the pita bread, was kind of hard but in general service was really good the energy in the place was very warm and gentle! We will be back! very pleased!
I have yet to have a bad meal at Amel's. The stuffed grape leaves are my go-to appetizer. Whether I've had the beet and artichoke salad, the mixed kebab, or shared small plates, the food never disappoints.
I tripped over this place coming home from work ... Decor in place is unique with Jasmine's on walls . I ordered Beef Shawarma wrap with side of Fattoush salad . Service on point 😁, I will be definitely back for the lamb and Jasmine rice next time ..
Like others, we have been going for quite some time. Never disappoints. The food is quite good. Staff is very friendly and the ambiance is spot on.
It was an interesting place at that. If you like Greek food than Amels is the place to go. I got the eggplant and ground lamb as well as the spinach dip. I enjoyed the dip but wasn't a big fan off eggplant. My only issue was that I felt as if we were not important to our waitress and she couldve bee
I had the filet with shrimp, the amels salad, and for appetizers… meatballs. The meatballs were good, had some great seasonings on them, along with the bread they gave us… delicious. The Steak was a Little mediocre, as far as steaks go… but it’s on the high end of mediocre… so it’s still pretty good
Wonderful little restaurant with great food and an awesome food selection ! Definitely recommend if you're in the south hills area !!! The pasta Athena and the Amels salad !!
