The Abbey On Butler - Pittsburgh - Photo album

I found the Abby on Butler St to be very relaxing and enjoyable. The best part of the establishment is the different sections ,each with its own decor, which creates a unique mood and enjoyable experience. Both indoor and patio dining , a coffee house room, and several bar seating areas, you can fi
Overall, enjoyed The Abbey. The atmosphere is super cute like library, coffee house, nook that gets a lot of sunshine. The food was good. The veggie omelette was really good. The side of fries were just that- should have saved the calories. The burger was intense but had a ton of flavor! I ordered m
I am talking about the Coffee House only bc the bar and dining is all part of the same place with the same owner. The atmosphere for the coffee place is really nice and low-key. There is music in the background and people can talk with each other without others hearing it but the music is not too lo
Our waiter was super sweet, the food was incredible. We got brunch on a Sunday morning and it was surprisingly not too busy! We got the curry frites, curry tofu scramble and a frittata. The mimosas were strong (or maybe I'm just weak!) and the environment was beautiful. My ONLY complaint is that I w
Our waiter was Justin who was also handling the bar. His attention was pulled everywhere and i feel like if he had help our experience would have been better. Unfortunately we had to keep asking other waiters for needed items. We ordered the Brussels to open. Personally I didn't like them as they we
The best mussels in town. Lamb pasta is unique and delicious. The burger was a delight with a bit of heaviness of apple butter. The meat is tender and fresh bursting with flavor. The crispy frites is a must try. Love it! The ambience is lovely too. Awesome experience!
I’ve been to the abbey for brunch, dinner and everything in between. The service is always great and the food is delicious. The new outdoor addition has been wonderful on nice days or late nights for a bite to eat. If you’re going for brunch I’d recommend reserving a table first to avoid the lines.
I love The Abbey!! We have been going for years!! Whether it’s a coffee or a beer the atmosphere is amazing! Beautiful inside and out!! Every time I’m showing houses in Lawrenceville I make sure I have time to stop by!!
The Abbey on Butler Street is a fun/interesting place. When you visit, you need to read the “about us” on their digital menu - very interesting history. The food was very good and decent portion size - we had a couple of sandwiches and salads. The Turkey Roma was very good as was the Honey Chicke
Food was delicious, especially the waffles. Will come back for more! However, utensils were not properly cleaned (happened multiple times during the same meal) - not expected for this restaurant.
1) Curry fries and edamame hummus were amazing appetizers. Definitely could've ordered just these and been satisfied. 2) Great selection of liquors--Russell's Reserve 10yr was great! Thanks to our server for the suggestion! 3) Burger was definitely up there. Side salad was very good but wish there w
Great spot for an al fresco lunch or an evening drink. I love the patios and ambiance. There are various rooms indoors as well each with a unique vibe. The food and cocktails are really nice! Definitely recommend scoping out The Abbey
My friend and I came here for Sunday brunch, thank goodness we made a reservation because there was a line go get in (10am). We had the option of picking where we wanted to be seated, we choose outside but the covered part. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the waitress was friendly and attenti
We tried the salmon, peach, walnut, salad and seared ladanga with mestballs.. deliciousness!
Dog friendly area called Arcade. Visited for lunch on a Sunday morning. The abbey looked busy, but the arcade side was much more quiet. Couple people at the bar, and one other couple in the dog area. The breakfast pita and breakfast gyro were really good. Pic is of breakfast pita.
