Salonikas - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Nice place. You order at the counter, they call your number and you pick up your food. I really liked the lemon potatoes. The wraps were fresh and yummy. I got the roasted red pepper wrap. It had peppers, feta, lettuce and tomatos with a yummy dressing. I would give this place the thumbs up.
Stopped in to try out a local gyro. They did not disappoint. Wife had the gyro plate and I had the gyro combo. Staff were helpful and service was quick. Food tasted great and there was plenty of meat to go around. If your not too hungry there was more than enough on the gyro plate to share.
The food was amazing, the service was fantastic! The owner happened to be the one to take care of us on our visit. He was informative, caring, and humorous. We had such a fantastic experience. The bartender was a very sweet, knowledgeable girl. And the cook, he did and amazing job with everythin
Came here today for the first time. I got the '3 Rivers Gyro', which was more of a standard Gyro with fries and special sauce mixed in (Pittsburgh style). It was $7.75 and was very generous with portion sizes and quite tasty. Friendly staff and quick service. I would come here again.
This place is the best place for a gyro! 100 times better than Mike & Tony's. Tim (the cook) is thee best! & when we go here we always have to go to the bar & see our favorite bartender Brian & order a strong island! It is absolutely delicious! When you go here you HAVE to order a strong island (I g
Great Greek food with large portions and very reasonably priced. Nothing fancy about the location. I had the gyro salad and lemon potatoes- for $11 it was a lot of food with mounds of gyro meat. see pic.
Even at 10:30 in the morning they have the best food close to Heinz Hall. I managed to also get some stuffed grape leaves fresh out of the oven and all I can say is oh my God. Delicious! As someone who does low carb, one of their Greek salads is perfect, and the tzatziki sauce is exceptional.
Good Greek menu. Nice people. Great location within the cultural district of Pittsburgh.
Good selection of Greek food. Nice size dr/customers order at the counter & are called to pick up the food. Def not fancy, but the prices are very reasonable esp. for downtown where things are escalating ridiculously. The bar is a plus, aside from the wine selection (get beer or a mixed drink!). Chi
Excellent Greek. We had the classic gyro and chicken gyro and then we shared a veggie plate. The spanakopita, warm dolmas and hummus were right on the mark. Great food and good value. Parking is tough in the downtown area, but worth it if you are down there for another reason.
