The service was great and the atmosphere is awesome. Oysters were phenomenal. Definitely come here for seafood!
Great food, decent serving sizes, and okay prices. I want to come back to try the oysters, but I just got a few basic items from this place for a dinner. I tried the hush puppies with remoulade and the beignets with chocolate sauce. Both were very good. The hushpuppies were some of the best I've ha
Hands down the shrimp and grits was the best dish among a group of absolutely amazing dishes. The coffee is strong, and made with chicory. This is a place that will require multiple trips to try everything, and/or a larger group who is willing to share. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the Blues tr
This was my second time visiting this restaurant and it was a very nice night. The drinks, food and atmosphere was great. My family from Hawaii was in town and they really enjoyed themselves. I went with the chargrilled oysters my first visit. I tried the shrimp and grits this visit and it was the
Butter on the lobster roll was a bit overdone. The bun was kind of hard to hold. Also a little too salty. The oysters were great though! And the fries are top notch. Will be coming back for the oysters.
The kid shocking didn't speak English, but who cares. Oysters were damn good, and the burger I ordered was an instant heart attack. Perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.
Service was very good. Staff is knowledgeable for first timers with questions. The food was nothing short of amazing. The sandwiches we had were stuffed with meat and they were very good. The oysters were very good. We had the cooked oysters and raw oysters and both were done exceptional. The restau
Absolutely fantastic drinks and food. While the fresh oysters are what bring folks in, the chargrilled oysters are even better! Lobster eggs Benedict was amazing, as were the bloody Marys. The food is only outdone by the great staff.
This is a hidden gem. My husband and I came here for dinner on a Sunday. There is street parking but good luck finding a spot. Sunday was great so we grabbed a spot right on a side street. Inside was not crowded so we got a seat fast. Food: I've never tried oystes but since we came here it was on
I decided to dine at Muddy Waters with family, and I am glad we chose the restaurant. The food was really good, and very similar to the traditional New Orleans cuisine. We had several menu items, and they were all great. The drinks were really good as well. Initially, they thought the oysters were u
Great selection of oysters and other food, service was great as was the overall vibe.
Muddy Waters was a fantastic surprise! We received a gift card and decided to try it out. We loved everything. The staff was very friendly and the happy hour specials were amazing! $1 and $2 Oysters!!!! Very fresh and authentic food. The cocktails were tasty as well. I would definitely recommend and
Came here for brunch today oh my gosh the food is amazing! Boyfriend got the Shrimp Po Boy and I got the Corned Beef Hash. We also both got some oysters (East Coast and West Coast) and I'm just floored by how good it was. The cajun seasoning was just enough to make the food flavorful but not too ove
Very fresh oyster bar! The hot chicken is also very good. I loved the banana pudding! But it’s really loud and I couldn’t hear my friends even he sat in front of me.
Tonight was my first time here and it did not disappoint. I frequent New Orleans often each year and Muddy Waters gave me a piece of that here in Pittsburgh. Live Jazz music, Fantastic Creole food, raw bar and great service. The owners also are actively working hands on with the staff to provide awe
Have visited here several times for cocktails and eats. Sometimes together, sometimes just for drinks. Always a good experience. Dishes are excellent and the wait staff is always on point. Jazz night is a bonus.
