Butcher And The Rye - Pittsburgh - Photo album

The drinks were cute! And the atmosphere was fun and unique. No food as it was a pop up. And I had wished there was food. A little disorganized upon entry but staff was very friendly. I would recommend the Spookeasy
Edit: Changing to 5 stars for sassy response, 5/5 will return with ear plugs. Came at 7 for the Apres Ski Christmas party. Adorable decorations, really fun cocktails, great and fast service. All ruined by atrocious DJing. So loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you, music was EDM remixes that
I ordered the buttermilk fried rabbit which tasted amazing. I also had the dirty pasta to start which was yummy as well. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and homey. I came a second time a few weeks later and ordered the burger which also did not disappoint! My friend ordered the steak and said
Part whisky bar part restaurant Butcher had a great atmosphere. There was a wall of various whisky bottles some were hard to find. They also various specialized cocktails. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a drink. I enjoyed the meal as well. The place reminded me of a bar you w
Good food. Very American. Could easily get a star but not on the route. Duck liver, lamb neck with ricotta were great. Lived the tartare too. Great whisky bar. Very friendly staff. Pittsburgh is a cool town.
Great restaurant! The decor is wonderfully cozy and warm. There are oil lanterns at each table and amazing antique fixtures and glasses. The drinks are whiskey based and amazing, especially from the upper bar; it has it’s own menu. The food was equally amazing; we had scallops and rabbit and Dir
What a cozy little place in the downtown area of Pittsburgh. The bar is wicked cool looking and upstairs there is dark woods and taxidermy animals on display and feels real intimate. The buttermilk fried rabbit was crispy and sublime. The scallop appetizer was rendered wonderfully and capping off wi

On top of that, their cocktails were amazing, and offered a great variety of strengths and tastes. We had come in just for drinks, but ended up having dessert as well. Among all of
This place had a great ambiance. Awesome smells of the wood fire. Great Menu and even better food. We stopped here after seeing the best football team in the world play at Heinz Stadium. The New England Patriots.
There were some very good things happening on the menu. Especially if you're not squeamish. If you're adventurous or not put off by the names of food, get the goat neck. It's fantastic. Tons of scotch options and some delicious brussel sprouts made this a great trip along with a very good wait staff
