Great lounge in downtown Pittsburgh. The lounge is energetic with live jazz even on the weekdays. Drinks are unique and flavorful. The smoked old fashioned is the best in the city--definitely do not miss. Alycia is a fantastic bartender who mixes great drinks and provides amazing service. Happy hour is a great deal, but this is a great place to impress clients and guests from out of town. Impressive atmosphere and some of the best service I've ever had. Making my way through their cocktail menu has never let me down. I recommend the lobster tacos, lobster tail appetizer, and the oysters Rockefeller. Must do when downtown!

Fantastic Chilean Sea Bass and asparagus. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the soy sauce was just the right amount. The crab fried rice was really good, but a little too salty for me. The band in the bar was fantastic! I wish they played from 6:30-9:30 or 7-10 on Sundays. I will return! Fantastic food and very attentive waitstaff.

What an amazing dining experience! From the waiter to the food—one of the best dining experiences in a long time! We sat in the Speakeasy area of the restaurant—perfect for celebrating a 21st birthday (not mine) with caviar and champagne! Had the Chilean SeaBass—tender and succulent!

I hate to say it, because I’m fully aware Eddie V’s is a chain however, they have some of the best seafood and steaks in Pittsburgh. The staff is always incredible accommodating and nice. Shout-out to Mark, he’s the best! Also, some of the stand-outs for me: yellowtail with jalapeño, filet with horseradish crust, lobster mashed potatoes and the crab fried rice. Seriously, you can’t go wrong coming here!

Thursday evening was my first visit, and it exceeded all of my expectations. My friend and I started with an assortment of fresh oysters and a crabcake for good measure. We enjoyed the Chilean sea bass, an addition of scallops, a 12oz filet, spinach, and truffle Mac and cheese. Everything was delightful. We had the famed bananas foster for dessert. Each item was delicious and steps of service were perfect. The staff -- from host Wadiah, to our server, Justin and Diego for support -- was incredible. Justin guided us through the menu, as he was both confident and knowledgeable. He was also very patient with our indecision and questions. Thank you everyone for a phenomenal experience.

Possibly the best Seabass I’ve ever had. Amazing wine from Australia. Great environment. Great service. Recommend Hayley. Good jazz band in the bar. Just the right sound level.

The meal and experience are phenomenal top to bottom. One of the best, if not the best filets I’ve ever had. Lobster bisque is killer. Great service, friendly manager, and the hostess working on 05/21 was an angel. Thanks for a special celebratory dinner 👏👏

Really enjoyed eating here. Was a last minute choice and find, but it really surpassed expectations. The drinks were all very different, but generous and had great presentations. Had the steak tartar and it was probably the best I ever had (my friend agreed). Beautiful steak that was cooked to perfection. This was also the first times I had Bananas Foster and loved the presentation. One random thing to note, I normally don't like high top seating, but these were the most comfortable chairs I've used in a restaurant in a long time. I didn't want to leave! Our service was very personable and prompt.

Food was excellent and it was the first time I took my daughter to a nice steak and seafood restaurant and she loved it as well.

The food is phenomenal, but I would say the service is the most impressive. It’s a high class vibe without the pretentiousness. This place is perfect for a date or a special celebration, but also perfect for a meal after a visit to PNC Park. Came in feeling underdressed from a ballgame, but was made to feel perfectly welcome.

10/10 with me. Everything I had was amazing, except the lobster bisque. It wasn’t bad but tasted orange-y. Crab cake was best in the country and my steak was cooked to perfection.

My husband surprised me with a wonderful anniversary dinner at Eddie V's restaurant. They went out of their way toward making our evening extra special. The food was perfect. Live music, romantic ambiance absolutely superb dining. Valet parking is available, my advice is get there before 7 pm. The valet parking does get full quickly and they unfortunately have to turn people away due to being full. Reasonable price for parking such a busy but beautiful area. Lots to do.

To say that we enjoyed our time at Eddie V's is an understatement! We wanted to choose some place extra special to celebrate my son's 21st Birthday and Eddie V's surpassed our expectations. I made our reservation online via their website and indicated that we were celebrating his 21st. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two of the friendliest people you will ever meet (Makayla being one but, sadly, Ive forgotten the other's name). These two immediately made us feel welcomed and comfortable and set the tone for the rest of our evening. The dining room is beautifully appointed and reminiscent of days long past and live jazz could be heard coming from the bar area. We were seated at our table which had been adorned with Birthday confetti and a hand written card acknowledging the occasion. Our server, Amy, may very well be the best server that Pittsburgh has! She made us feel like we were her only guests and made wonderful suggestions for wine, cocktails, and food. You owe it to yourself to request her by name when making your reservation. You will be so glad that you did! We first had a chef's sample of the tuna tartar served on a lavosh cracker and it was big flavor perfection. We began our meal with the lobster bisque which is poured tableside. It was simply delicious. At Amy's suggestion, I opted for the Parmesan Sole. It was a huge portion of delicate, buttery, melt-in-your mouth deliciousness. I highly recommend it! My son had the 20 ounce Rib Eye with scallops and proclaimed it to be "the best steak he has ever had" and the one by which all others will be measured! (They cut all of their steaks in-house, btw). We opted for the lobster mashed potatoes and hericots verts as our sharable sides, both of which were fresh and delicious. To end our meal, although absolutely stuffed, we both went with the Crème brûlée...the best I have ever had. Amy, to our surprise, presented my son with additional treats in celebration of his special day, and the meal ended the way in which it started, sweetly (but with limoncello). My son said that this was his "best Birthday ever" and that confirmed for me that I had made the right choice by choosing Eddie V's. Go! And experience their phenomenal food, drinks, and impeccable service for yourself! You won't be disappointed. *Side note: we had such a great time that I didn't take many pics of the food!
