I love Steeltown. They have a unique selection of unique drinks you will not find elsewhere. The cappuccino has a nutty earthy flavor distinct from any I have had. The pirate mocha has a touch of orange flavor that is delicious. The blended iced mocha is fantastic, especially on a warm day. The ambiance is open, light and airy. The owner, Adrian, and all the baristas are friendly and fast.

My favorite place for coffee...great customer service, the owner is on-site most of the time and is super friendly...nice assortment of pastries, panini's, pot pies, quiche, and other snacks...and btw, they also make the best coffee/espresso drinks in the East Bay. Large seating area with lots of small tables, along with a large table for small group meetings, books to read, some board games, local artists works on display, and they have had musicians/poetry readings in the past as well...definitely one of the best places to go to in the beautiful Downtown Pittsburg area.

Best kept secret in California. The finest coffee shop I have ever visited bar none, and I have been to a LOT of coffee shops.

I love this place! Great independent coffee house with a nice selection of coffees and teas that are perfectly roasted, baked goods from a local bakery, and a selection of breakfast and lunch items if you're feeling a bit peckish. Kudos to the owner for being a great supporter of the community.

This is one if the first third wave coffee shops in Contra Costa, and also one of the best. Love their high quality beans and their house made syrups. I'm a regular and am treated very well there by the owner and baristas. The environment is always calm and peaceful, even though it's in a rougher area. Steeltown is always my first choice!

I Love coffee and I only drink the best brew! Today I tried my local coffee house just to try something new. Surprised and overjoyed with my little sips of heaven! The Lavender Latte was simply amazing

This coffee shop is actually inside of a bank. Once you are by the coffee it does feel like a separate space. While I was there the bank was closed. They had these really fancy looking coffee roasting machines. You know the coffee is truly their own unique flavor. I wanted a fun coffee drink since it was the weekend, but they didn't offer coconut milk so I had to settle for oatmilk. Got the honey cardamom latte. The honey cardamom was good but oatmilk sucks in coffee. I'll go back to try their black coffee. 4 stars due to no coconut milk. Also only 2-3 gluten free food options. And 1 was a brownie. NEWSFLASH FOR ALL RESTAURANTS: GF people don't live off eating brownies for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Get some real options.

Yes, will gladly rate this place with four stars for the quality of beverages, selection, policies and great hospitality. Make sure to try few house blend roasts, which full of flavorful aromas. Will be back for more pleasant experiences.

Very cool coffee house. It's located in the same building and shares lobby space with a Mechanics' Bank. It's a little odd when you initially walk in. I took a little jaunt out to Pittsburg, CA just to see what was in that city. However, due to it being a holiday many of the stores were not open, their downtown area is small but cute. Like I said the coffee house shares the building space with a Mechanics' Bank, but it's cute, quaint and different, which I prefer. I wasn't sure if I had found the right place, since I had heard there were comfy chairs. When I walked in, I first noticed the 4 person tables with white linen tablecloths, before I saw the chairs. Seemed a bit odd for a coffee house. Both baristas were really helpful, friendly and nice! It actually seems more like a little bistro, rather than a coffee house. I ordered the Dark Cocoa, surprisingly it was only $2.50 it was really good, tasty and definitely hit the spot for me. I had wanted to try their quiche, but unfortunately they were sold out. I do like that their menu is written on their wall, of what seems to be made from some kind of wood or material that is like a chalkboard, as some of the text for their products was smudged. Because it was a holiday, parking was a breeze. It's all street parking with a 2 hour limit and no meters, nice!!

Place is great, servers are good. Coffee and selections are good. I would say I had better coffee, that just my opinion. Other than that it's a good place to hang and have some of that morning coffee.
