I recommend the shrimp, hush puppies, and smoked fish dip. I love the atmosphere, and the service is always warm and friendly. Thank you. 💕

First time there and everything was wonderful. I enjoyed the seafood. I was with a larger party (8).and each person's dished looked fantastic. The presentation was great. Service was great, and the taste was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their dish and had a great time.
I didn't get a chance to try the bar drink (as the bar was closed due to no bartender that day 😩). I hope to try next time.

The food and service were superior. If you go, you have got to have the grits, they are GREAT. My husband also enjoyed the whole cooked bass. He said it was one of the best he's eaten. He's 70, so he's been around a bit. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, large glass windows, and nicely decorated.

Had dinner with friends tonight. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. The food was delicious, our server, Page, was fantastic and the music was wonderful.

If you are anywhere near Pittsboro you MUST try Postal Fish Co. The restaurant itself is quaint and nicely appointed. Their food however… is absolutely FANTASTIC! This is truly a “diamond in the rough”. You would not expect this level of cuisine located here. We heard the menu changes daily so you’ll just have to come often to keep up with the number of amazing dishes this chef/owner puts out.

We've eaten here twice now. Food is fantastic. Service is great. They have raw oysters on the half shell listed on the menu, but when I asked if I could get them steamed, "No problem!" Spicy horseradish on the side. Topped the evening off with the "daily bread pudding". Fig and Honey. Yum!
So much is locally sourced and in season. Highly recommend!

My wife and her friend visited this restaurant and ranted about how great it was so my wife and I went for a date night.
I ordered the risotto (I won't judge the seafood based on a risotto dish). The risotto was okay for $19. Small plate garnished with flowers that were not rinsed so it had springtails (bugs you find in soil. Totally harmless but clearly unrinsed....). The risotto itself wasn't bad but certainly not $19 good. Rice was unevenly cooked so parts were just right and others were crunchy (no it wasn't the veggies).
I tried to order a cocktail that was on their menu using ginger beer and rum I believe it was. I was told "they are all out". As a fan of a Moscow mule, I asked if they were out of the ginger beer or the rum and the waitress replied "yes". I asked which of the ingredients she was out of and she repeated the drink name. Clearly she wasn't sure which was out of stock and didn't bother to ask.... I would have simply went with vodka, ginger beer, and a lime OR a rum and coke.... I ended up ordering a cheap beer.
My wife tried a fish she had not tried before and really liked the dish but the portions were small enough for her to say "these portions were much smaller than the last time I was here". I wouldn't know but agreed her portion for a standard fish was hilariously tiny but she doesn't eat much so wasn't worth discussing further.
The highlight of the meal for me was the duck fat fingerling potatoes. Absolutely delicious and a large portion at that.
Personally, I know this place is a local favorite but for my first visit I was left asking "why". I will certainly try it again someday but not my first option to show off local resteraunts to family.
Bummer. I was most excited about this place out of all the local restaurants 😫
