Loved their Mario Brothers sandwich! It's a quaint sandwich shop that stays busy! Their menu is posted, but you grab a slip and fill out your slip. They're busy but will come out to pick up orders, hand out orders or answer any questions. The bread is fresh and lightly toasted. All of the meats were delicious. Thinly sliced and plentiful. Fresh veggies. I could only eat half of my sandwich in one sitting. Yummy!
There is something about the bread here that is so good and satisfying to eat. There was a little wait for the food, but when you get to relax in the sunshine, the ocean breeze, and how chill and tranquil this area of Pismo was, waiting is a non-issue. I love that during the weekdays, Pismo is not crowded with cars piling up along the streets like so many other beach areas in California. Perfect and peaceful spot to have a delicious sandwich. I got the Kirby's Special that had roast beef and turkey. The ingredients themselves were fresh but it was the crispy and awesome tasting bread that really put it all together for me. We had to park curbside as we didn’t find a dedicated parking lot. Would definitely come back to have a simple, yet delicious sandwich while just soaking in the atmosphere.
This is my favorite sandwich spot in south county. The bread is phenomenal. Go Dutch crunch if you can but it sells out regularly. Meat is top quality and the service is always phenomenal. The owner is there frequently and his dedication to great customer service is always apparent. It gets busy so go before prime lunch time for the best experience.
Loved it here ! It was my first time and it was super easy to order , the wait was a little long for my liking but I will definitely be ordering online and picking up ! Got 2 different sandwiches and they were both so good , highly recommended.
Great place for deli sandwiches. They are very friendly there and want to please you. My husband had the chicken chimichuri on Dutch crunch bread. Great flavors and huge serving, could easily split between two people, any other sandwiches. I had the jerk gouda chicken delicious.
Wow what a great Sandwich! My hubby built his own & I got the Oahu Delight. It had this cool bread called Dutch crunch i was able to replace the spicy toppings with no hassle or extra charge. There is a small sign that says ring the bell because there working in the back right as I rang the bell the lady was right In front. They offer beer and cider on tap. And a large variety of non alcoholic drinks too. It's a great family owned business and I am definitely coming back. Thanks again guys!
Great sandwiches!! A group of us ordered the chimichurri chicken, ever roast chicken and the Oahu delight all on Dutch roll bread!! Boy, what delicious sandwiches!! We stopped in on our way up the coast and on the way down the coast to. We will definitely make this our pit stop all the time! The owner is a lovely person and very gracious!
Swear best sandwiches!!!! We literally drive from Fresno to Pismo and look forward to eating here every time... Have a signature sandwich or customize your own and you won't be disappointed
I had the 805 Sunrise, Hands down the best egg sandwich I have ever had. I am excited to go again for another. It was so good, the egg was cooked very nice, chipotle mayo delicious, brioche great choice, and avocado and bacon insanely good.
Ordered the jerk chicken sandwich. Nice big sandwich, great taste and nicely spicy. They have a good selection of cold craft bottled sodas and beers. Can customize any sandwich as well. I'll definitely be going back
Excellent food. All sandwich ingredients are of the highest quality and taste amazing. Service was good and they got my food out quickly despite being very busy with online orders. Great chip and drink selection in store. No inside dining as of the time of this posting, but they do have 2, two-person tables out front. Great for a casual meal with a friend or significant other.
Wow! Mouth watering sandwiches come from this place beware! You will crave this even after you leave from vacation! Little expensive but it’s a tourist spot and prices are going up! Can’t beat it after a long beach day. Dutch crunch roll was a little on the tough side and my sammy became a mess but there was still none left when i finished.
Overall good small operation. Busy Sunday lunch time had a delay of 20-30 min on sandwiches. Quality meats and good combinations.
Shredded lettuce is a plus!

This is a no frills deli on the main drag in Shell Beach. The ingredients are of good quality and they have an interesting selection of special sandwiches. They sell is broad selection of local beer as well. There is some limited seating inside and out.
Sandwiches were delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful. Little space to eat inside but we planned to take our sandwiches to go.
This place is amazing!!!!! Small little deli with amazing "sandwiches". They have chips, waters, coffee, beer, and teas to go along with the most perfect sandwich ever. The service was wonderful and it's over 200 miles away from my home but WE WILL BE BACK ❤

We bought sandwiches and delicious deli chips and went to Dinosaur Park a few mins away. Every person in my party raves about their sandwich. I did a make your own. The bread was delicious. The meat was generous but not so much that you feel like you can’t bite into it. The lettuce and tomatoes were farm fresh; Crispy lettuce and ripe tomatoes. Great cheddar. The honey mustard and onion made this one of the best sandwiches I had in a lonnng time. I planned to eat half and save half. Before I knew it I had eaten it all!
Me and my boyfriend went yesterday since we were in Pismo and all I can say is wow! Best sandwich I have ever had. Fresh ingredients, good portions, and friendly cashier. Loved everything about this little place. I vowed to visit every time we go to the beach!
