The owner, Fay, was sweet. She greeted me as I entered. She also helped me get the best deal with my large, confusing order. I gotta that the quality of the food is above exceptional. I would've taken pictures if it weren't for my kids wolfing down the "delicious food" (their words). The wife N I enjoyed it as well. If you have picking eaters and they eat it all, that says something about the food. We'll be back the next time we're in Pismo Beach. We highly recommend you stop by and see for yourself.

Great place for boba tea! Food was just what I expected. Delightful selections of food, beverages, and more. Service is fast and friendly. Have gone out of my way to returned for some of their great selections. I especially recommend the egg custard buns!
I just tried this place last night & it was pretty good. The orange chicken was so crispy & filled with flavor. The chicken dumplings ARE SO FREAKING GOOD!!! So far the best chicken dumplings i’ve had!!! The dumpling & noodle soup was okay. Overall this is a great place for dumplings. I will definitely come back when i’m in town.
We have visited Fay's a few times now. It is one of our go to places for Dim Sum, Boba tea and general Asian comfort food. Just wanting a small snack we got a bowl of noodles and dumplings for the kid and the adults got 1 steamer of shrimp dumplings and XLB dumplings. The flavors are excellent. The only downside is the dumplings do take a while to steam since they are raw and cooked to order. The shrimp cook faster, but the XLB take a good 10-15 minutes to cook. As long a you are ok with this and have the time they are tasty.
This last time my XLB did have some cracks in the dumplings which caused the juice to run out into the steamer. ☹ Even with that little issue the dumpling were not dry and tasted great, just no tasty soup to burn your mouth with. 😂
Told to try this place by locals. Just a couple blocks from the Pismo Beach Pier. Menu on the wall outside. Boba menu inside. Food made to order. Tasted fine. No complaints about taste. A bit on the expensive side for what you get.
We tried this for the first time today and it was good. The restaurant is nice and clean the lady who took our order was nice and friendly. We ordered the beef and chicken chow main, braised pork belly, fish sticks, popcorn chicken and 3 BOBA drinks. We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.
Was at Pismo Beach during the Fourth weekend with friends and families and tried Fay's on the first night dinner. The lady up front wasn't that nice at first, but she did an excellent job and packing our food and labeling them all! Also, when we went back, she was noticeably nicer.
Now the food, since we had many mouths to feed, we pretty much tried all the kids-friendly and vegetarian food, which was all very good. But, I want to rave about their braised beef noodle soup! I could tell the broth had deep flavors and spiciness was hot enough! In fact, a friend of mine who doesn't eat beef wanted to try it and I asked if they can use a different broth, but she said it's been simmered overnight, which I can tell delivers that great flavor! I had to go back to get the beef noodle soup and while I was enjoying it on the patio, another guest at the hotel wanted to know where I got the soup since the smell was so good! I'd definitely go back for that soup alone!
Oh, and the fireworks on the beach was the best!

Delicious food. Fast and convenient. Very friendly staff . Plus...right next to the ocean, perfect for aftwr some surfing
Great noodles. I'd defiently go again, I heard the soup is very good. I didn't really care for the boba though
From my experience the food has always been good. The egg rolls are amazing. Whenever we come to Pismo, which is often, we always stop here and get food. The wait may be long but remember that its family run.......the food is freshly made, not sitting in a warmer. Everyone has their own taste preference but I think this is great!
Really great boba and fast service!! The tapioca balls themselves are sooo soft and not grainy at all. My favorite boba place by far in the area. I have heard from friends that the food is great too but I personally have never had it.
Staff is super nice and helpful. The food was delicious. My husband got the Eel and it tasted amazing. The rice was perfectly cooked and the beef teriyaki had a nice flavor to it.
Love love love this place.
It's small and casual. The serve the best iced teas around, so refreshing and a lot of options too. My personal favorites are the Honey Lavender and the Honeydew milk teas. And of course, you gotta try their boba, it is exceptionally delicious.
I normally go here just for a quick tea because I'm practically addicted to it, but recently I just tried there food here and it's pretty damn delicious. Big portion, and it was so very tasty. You can order ahead which is pretty neat and I'll definitely be taking advantage of that service. The staff is also very friendly
It's not a vegan restaurant like I was led to believe but it does have some vegan options. I had the veggie chow mein which I quite enjoyed.
