We had EXCELLENT FOOD and our Waitress Rachel provided EXCELLENT Customer service! I had the Shrimp Boil with CAJUN SEASONING and Garlic Butter Dipping sauce. It was the BOMB! Very good! My Wife chose from the large 2 page GLUTEN FREE friendly menu. Just ask for one. Lot of choices for her! She had the Grilled Fish and Fries. She loved it. Pefectly cooked! Great place for all ages groups. Big time nautical theme, with pirate statues, deep sea fish, and a dining area in a boat hull. All of this is on top of million dollar views or Pismo Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The food menu is right on target for what you'd want and expect from a quality seafood seafood place. Items were well priced and tasted very good. The service is somewhat slow, but this isn't the place you'd go if you were in a rush any way. Great for families, as well as for date night. Will go back for sure.
Atmosphere was very pleasant. You can see the ocean from window area. Love the boat that's in the middle of the restaurant, yup a boat ⛵ lol. We had a gathering & we all enjoyed sitting in that area!! Host & staff very generous I think they attended to us as much possible taking the amount of heads we had. A few of my family didnt seem to think so, they had our reservation for weeks & they said the manager should have had more staff. 😏 Either way myself & a few others enjoyed it all around!! The service was great and the crab was really delicious. I liked how the table was set up with a flag to notify a waiter when you needed help. The pina colada was awesome. The clams were horribly bland and that's why I only am giving four stars
Garlic and Cajun butter, yes please! Make sure to get the cheddar biscuits, too. All tasty goodness. Need to come back to dine during the day to take in the view.
Good service with a wide range of selections & prices. Kids eat for $2.99 on Tuesdays & got to pick a prize from the treasure chest. They also have a good selection for Happy Hour. Staff was very nice! Beautiful beach views while you enjoy your meal.
Ambiance was great. Our server Sequoia was excellent. The clam chowder was to die for, calamari app very good. The fish tacos were buried in cabbage to the point you couldn't tell there WAS tacos. Flavorless flour tortillas, not enough fish, C- . Crab boil was excellent, as we're the cheese garlic biscuits. Try the "pain killer" cocktail, outstanding. Fish and chips were solid. In retrospect, we ordered wrong. Get anything from the fish boil menu, and you'll be happy.

Being a local, I like to check out the new stuff around here often when they open to see if they're consistent enough to bring my friends.
Flagship didn't disappoint on this first trip, as soon as I was told they had cue by text, I knew things were going to go well.
Wait time was about 20min for my girlfriend and I, but with text alert for seating it really didn't matter as we took a stroll on the beach while we waited. Once we were back we were led back, past all the cool pirate theme decore (legit stuff, not cartoony and weird) to the booths in the back with views of the beach and a cool little boat on a walkway outside.
We ordered some "Elotes" (Street Corn on the cob - not exactly, but very delicious so close enough) and fried calamari for appetizers, then some steak and jambalaya for dinner. The steak was very good, not Ember, but better than AJ's and the seafood in the jambalaya had lots of flavor.
I came here once when it was Steamers and though it was good, it was far too expensive and boring in there. This new style fits the location very well, the place feels very lively and inviting, I will definitely bring my drinking friends to their cool looking bar and see if they'll let us use the booths in the ship plopped in the center of the restaurant...maybe do a Titanic pose on the bow (that should be a thing...just sayin)
This place made a good impression on me so I'll be coming back and if you're in town, you should definitely hit it too.
Cocoanut crusted salmon was delicious!! They also serve kettle chips and we had 2 servings..day bomb. Especially after a beautiful hike at Montana de Oro. Jake our server was very kind.
Usually I like to wait until I've visited a place a few times before I post a review, you know, for consistency. But since there were 4 of us in our party and we all shared the same impression I figured yep, I'm saying great stuff! From the spectacular view (we could see dolphins, not in this pic tho, sorry!) to the fried potato crispy chip things while waiting for our food, great service and very delicious meals, I'll definitely return. I'm gluten free and very much enjoyed the crab and shrimp melt.
This restaurant is simply fantastic. We had amazing service, highly helpful, with a great seafood and "landfood" selection. The atmosphere is comfortable, warm, and homey.
As for the taste of the food, the selection is superb tasting. Fresh and full of flavor, the food will make you want to eat seconds.
All in all, give this place a try at sunset, and enjoy the views and great service.
Best catfish I’ve ever had. Leon is an awesome chef. I can’t wait to try the meatloaf. Of course we love going to Flagship for the great service and beautiful view. We really enjoyed the saxophone player.
