We came back to Dolphin Bay & Lido. Their menu changed a lot! They kept some classics that were taken to the next level. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Welcomed as soon as you walk in. Mojitos are still the best! There are so many things to compliment. I'm adding adding pics from the ribs NOW versus before. They were good before, but fall of the bone and smokey this time. We ended up with two orders! You could peel the meat off the bone that's how tender they were (BBQ Fan). Bloody Mary mix that is OUT OF THIS WORLD (I have no idea who thought it was too spicy, but this is California)! I don't like hot without flavor. They make their own mix and you can tell. The bartender let me sip it just in case. I could drink it just to drink over ice. It's the best mix I have ever had. Plus, she was able to make it into a Michelada instead. Maybe that's why it was too spicy for some? Vodka has its own zing. They still have the Lido burger, but the Smash burger was delicious. Pecorino fries are always a must have and the eggs Benedict. I tried the brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the bread pudding. It was pumpkin (no nuts or raisins yay) with a caramel sauce at the bottom. Again, ended up with two of those. One at brunch and took one to go. It reminded me of English toffee sticky pudding (my favorites). and I didn't get to taste the bread pudding. I can definitely see a change in the menu as well as the quality of how things are prepared. The portions are large so it's so easy to get full. But everything I tasted and drank was stellar! The staff is amazing and super friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond here. Even if you don't stay at DB, come check out the bar, happy hour, brunch and food. They have a lot to choose from. Oh, random .. I almost forgot! For the kiddos. Try the chicken nuggets. Not frozen! Crispy freshly made nuggets. 5 star even for your kiddos! I love this place! You have to stop by, trust me, they have the best bar tenders and an exquisite menu!

Every. Single. Thing. We had to eat here was fantastic! We ate there for brunch & dinner for most of our 5 night stay at the Dolphin Bay Resort. Service was prompt (in spite of the fact that we never had reservations - this is potentially because we arrived on a Tue. in Oct.). Not only was the food amazing but the servers were great, too!

Customer service is top notch, location is of course beautiful and inviting. Food is sort of average but dessert was pretty good but it’s better than a lot of other options you will find in the area. I’d eat there again.

Romantic, dim, candle lit atmosphere with delicious cocktails and huge wine selection. HIGHLY suggest for a date night! Easily the classiest, most intimate dinner setting in the Pismo Beach area. (shout out to bartender Matt who makes the best cucumber jalapeño margaritas) A lot of Pismo restaurants are either a “beach shack” vibe or an Outback Steakhouse kinda feel. But if you’re looking for a unique swanky delicious date spot… this is the place to be. I feel like people overlook this place being part of a “resort”. Don’t make that mistake! 🙏🏼 Also, I haven’t been here for brunch yet but I hear it’s amazing! Bottomless mimosas & an eggs Benny yes please.

Lido is a hidden gem in the Shell Beach / Pismo Beach area. We literally ran into it walking alongside the cliff next to the Spyglass Inn, in search for a sunset view dinner. Given the Easter weekend, this was a far shot. Lido is part of the pool-side restaurant at Dolphin Bay resort. The tables are outdoors but also behind a glass with plenty of heaters so you don't get cold. But what all of this delivers is a breath-taking sunset view with dinner. Even without the food, just this atmosphere deserves 5 stars. Now let's get to the food. Amazing fresh-baked bread welcomed us. Oysters were absolutely fresh and delicious. The beef carpaccio was even better. And the scallops were cooked to perfection - no fishy taste while being balanced with bean sprouts (that's a first!). We genuinely enjoyed a quality meal prepared with care and creativity. We do not live nearby but Lido now is a must-stop location for us whenever we drive by Pismo Beach.

On our way to San Francisco we stopped over at this restaurant after reading the reviews for this area. I was able to get a seat outside where I could see the beach and the cliff. The service was very fast and quick. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos. The portion was of a good size and I think after enjoying this beautiful experience I might stop over again at this location if I'm traveling in between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

I’ve been going here routinely for years. The ambiance is amazing! Everything on their cocktail menu is awesome! The service has a very casual pace and can at times be a little slower than preferred when it comes to drink refills and such. The service for large parties (10+) can be somewhat disjointed, like maybe the service staff doesn't get much training in how to organize orders by seat position. They'll bring plate by plate and ask, "who had ....(insert whatever the meal is)?" Which for higher end dining you wouldn't expect. HOWEVER, BIG HOWEVER, which is why I have five stars (and the fact they even accept large party reservations), is their server Nick! I HIGHLY recommend sitting wherever he is!!! My last two times here, once with a party of two and once with a party of 15, Nick was our server. His timing, pace, and overall service were incredible. He's got fine dining service down to a science! Not once did he need to ask where a plate went. His service was SO seamless and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thank you Nick!

Work breakfast so the service was a little slow but they kept things nice and warm on a gloomy morning with heaters. The Florentine was tasty along with the potatoes and added bacon. Very pretty and yummy cappuccino.
