I got a sandwich when I was sober, and ate half. Then I finished it once I was drunk. It was tasty both times. Will eat again drunk or sober. Their curly fries were on point.
When they recommend going to the eatery that's the most busy on the block, they're talking about this place. The line was out the door and around the block and the food did not disappoint. I'd recommend the Pismo wrap with the garlic fries. The Bloody Mary wasn't too shabby either.

Bob Marley and Fish Tacos...awesome!!. My wife and I and two teenaged girls really enjoyed Hogie's for lunch and almost broke our unwritten rule about visiting the same resturant twice while on vacation just for Hogie's to visit at dinner. My wife had the fish tacos which seemed like the fish was just caught about ten minutes prior to being put on the plate. She still raves about it. I had the clam basket wich was very tasty and plentiful. Portion sizes are generous and the Regge/beach atmosphere makes this a fun resturant. The waitstaff couldn't be nicer. One word of caution, however: if you think you're going to waltz right in at noon and get lunch. you're in for a little disappointment. We got the arounf 11:15 and walked right in. At noon, there was a line about ten deep and the place was packed inside. So plan accordingly.
Really good chowder! Best I've had outside of Seattle. Good fish and chips. The fries could have been cooked longer though. Nice atmosphere and menu variety. Right by the pier and shopping.
Great burgers, tri-tip, clam chowder.... I am not a fan of clam chowder but my family is... and they like Hoagies over Splash and we never have to stand in a line that goes around the corner! The owner Casey is very nice and we always have great service... Bob Marley is often being played here :)
I like the tri-tip wrap and tri-tip quesadilla. Often they have a buy one clam chowder bread bowl, get one free and they will put crab meat on top of it.

I come here often because I have a condo just above this place. So I have to make sure I eat here every time I come for a visit because I smell the food all day. The food is alway amazing and the portion sizes are extremely generous, it’s always more than one meal. The outdoor space is a great place to eat and they always have good music playing. Whether it’s dine in or take out this place is always a home run.
We come here often when visiting Pismo Beach and usually get the Cuban sandwich. It's okay, but it's straying away from being an actual Cuban sandwich with too much spice in the pulled pork and very messy to eat. It's supposed to be a simple handheld sandwich and less of a full meal.
Other things we have tried on the menu are very good. The loaded Bloody Mary is great, and so is the Clam Chowder with seafood topping.
Service is always great, and the atmosphere is really cool with great music in the background. Seems like the prices were high, but so is everything.
The smoked beef tip tacos, and salsa are great. The chips are very hard, tho.
Nice beach ambiance.
The coconut shrimp & sweet potato fries are very good, too.
Have you've ever thought of combining your most ingredients for an epic sandwich? Well, all your best inventions between two buns (or a wrap) comes alive here! As if these guys read our inner sandwich desires and made it true. Great tabling area to feel the sea breeze and the beach is a few minutes walk away. The service was just as kind, chill and kickback. Food was as delicious as I imagined while reading the description. I had the Pismo Wrap. Tri-tip, avocados, curly fries, jack cheese and bbq sauce! It was so bomb. Will definitely come back for some more.
Been coming here for 13 years and it’s still one of the best restaurants in Pismo. Food is top notch and the laid-back beach vibes are unbeatable. The Pismo Wrap is their best item imo, but you can’t go wrong with a burger as well. This place is a must-try if you’re in Pismo.
Great food! Friendly staff. Nice little stop o. The road trip. My husband got a bloody Mary and surf and turf wrap. I had fish and chips with clam chowder. It was amazing! Don't miss out on this little gem!

Great service from what looked like the manager. Also, the blonde woman that took our order was very savvy and kind.
I could tell the food was made fresh by order. You can also watch your food being made, and it was a very clean kitchen.
I ordered the fish and chips with clam chowder (I ate one before the photo). The fish and curly fries were crispy and tender. Clam Chowder was delicious. I was cold and ordered a hot chocolate as well, did not disappoint.
Next time I pass through, I will be coming here!
The food is delish. At first, we were intimidated by the line out the door, but it ended up moving quickly. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and my husband got pulled pork. I was actually pretty shocked at how much juivy flavor was packed into the sandwich. Phenomenal. Take out fries were soft / not crisy at all, so if I went back, I might ask them to make me some extra well done. Their homemade ranch dipping sauce was also really good as well.
Food is great. Ample servings.

Good sandwich shop in Pismo. We had the Pismo Wrap and the Big Italian. Both came with curly fries. Food was fresh and tasty. Great fries! The Pismo Wrap was a little dry, otherwise good food.

Our food was prepared right away and was served at our table with a smile. The food portions were incredible much more than we were expecting. The food was very well prepared and seasoned just right. We highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends, family, and colleagues. You got to experience this place for yourselves. You will also be very impressed !
Great clam chowder. We ordered clam strips and the special of 3 fried fish, french fries and a cup of chowder, very tasty and no diet portions here, plenty of food. Had leftovers and enjoyed them when we got home. Recommend!
Very busy restaurant for lunch. In my case, we took more than 10 minutes waiting in line to order the food and took another 30 minutes to get the food. Each dish comes with curly fries. I don’t really like them since they were really soft, not crispy at all. So I would upgrade them to salad or other sides by paying extra if I came to this place again. Fish and chips is also so so. I believe they are having hard time to control the food quality due to the high volume of the customers.
Yes!!! I was looking for a place to eat just like this one while visiting Cal Poly with my son for football recruiting. This place reminds me of my football college town when I was younger. I love the grilled onion smell and the uneven tables. Food was great and the money was spot on especially with high inflation. Staff was friendly. I really love this place because there little to no masks in sight. If I'm paying I should be able to wear what I want to wear. Great experience. I'd recommend this location!!! 👍🏾❤️

Great spot on Cypress near the pier. Table seating is indoors and outdoors on a first come basis.
Food portions were huge and priced well. Quality was above expectations, especially for the curly fries which were amazingly seasoned with just salt and pepper. Would go again, would recommend. Staff is friendly and efficient.
Been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. Good sandwiches and even better curly fries. Staff was quick with the food. No complaints.
I ordered the surf n turf and it tasted AMAZING. It has shrimp, bacon, tri tip, curly fries, pepper jack cheese, avocado & bbq sauce !! I strongly recommend it.
Good food, there’s always a long line for a good reason. I really like this place but the reason why I’m doing 4 stars is because I was the only one in line and has to wait 30 minutes for my order :(
