This place is pretty good. At least the nigiri sushi and appetizers are really good. I have been slightly disappointed with their "lunch" options - like most places if you want the good sushi you have to order it individually.
My main complaints are just that it's priced at about 1.5 times what it should be, and some of the rolls are mediocre. And they try to nickle and dime you with sauces and whatnot.
But overall, it's a pretty good place to get sushi. Most of the staff are friendly.

One of the best all – around restaurants in the Brevard area. The food is spectacular, and the atmosphere is always lively. If there is an excessive wait time, it is totally worth it. Truly, it is the best sushi I have had this far inland. Their carry out orders are just as good.

I’m visiting pisgah and was hungry so looking for some take away spots and found subway, mapped and came to subway but saw this Japanese restaurant and tried the chicken teriyaki, omg can’t even describe on how much I liked the food, I completed everything and writing the review now. This restaurant deserves to be a top one here in pisgah. The dumplings are great and the spring roll is delicious too in the bento box..

I rarely eat Japanese so I don't feel qualified to rate it extremely high or low. I liked it, the ingredients and preparation were excellent. It tasted good to me, but I am not certain what it (massaman curry) is supposed to taste like and know people are very specific with their tastes on food like this.
My son liked his dish. Serving sizes were larger than I expected.

Wow! I’m from out of town visiting Pisgah Forest and was not expecting to find this gem of a Japanese restaurant. I came here for lunch and the sushi was excellent! Pictured here are two spicy tuna rolls and one Philadelphia roll, as well as the miso soup and salad that comes with. I’d highly recommend checking this place out!

This restaurant is an easy 5 stars, the food is absolutely delicious.
Do not skip on the desert and order the fried cheesecake. It was so good!!!
When you enter the restaurant and see all the employees happy and nice, you realize that you have arrived at a special place.

From the outside you would not think it's going to be such an amazing place, but it is!!!
Our server was really sweet, the food was delicious and the vibe was so great, even though other people were around we had a very peaceful dinner.
I loved the sushi! You can tell it's fresh and it had so much flavor even without alot of sauce.
The hibachi steak was made just right and it was! We asked medium and it was just that!
But what really stole the show was the fried cheesecake!!!!! It was WOW. My husband looked at that cake like it was their anniversary and not ours 🤣
Do yourselves a favor and go eat there.

Had the sushi boat for two - everything was really good. The salmon melted in my mouth. Kelly was a great waitress, the house Chardonnay was good; be sure and call ahead to get on the wait list - very crowded, even early on a Saturday night! Worth the wait.
