Review Dragon City Restaurant - Piqua

Worst Chinese food we ever had. As to the facility itself, check the photo. As a facilities engineer I feel qualified to say “whether COVID or doing renovation, that’s is NOT the way to install a barrier”. Further, their outside sign is on its last legs, and there is no other business marking. If you want good food, or just value food safety, GO ELSEWHERE!

Maybe it was just bad night for them or something. this was my first time eating their food. I got pork with mixed Chinese vegetables. I guess I was misinformed as to what Chinese vegetables meant. I got poorly sautéed green peppers and onions, and the pork was still pink and tasted raw. I'm pretty sure I was also given minute rice. The sauce itself wasn't too bad. Overall I wasn't really impressed, was completely inedible.

This is my favorite "greasy spoon" Chinese takeout. This family run operation does not really offer a restraunt experience but the food is great, ready fast, and it's reasonably priced. I really like their garlic chicken, extra spicy, with steamed rice.

I used to love their food. The bourbon chicken was the best. I dined in this week, though and the meat was just tough and cold, as though it had been sitting out a long time. The window to order was completely taped up and you couldn't tell if someone was there on the other side. The workers were not too friendly, very short in response and not helpful. The floor was terribly dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. They also didn't have the bourbon chicken available in lunch size at lunch time, which was kind of frustrating. There are better chinese restaurants, for sure.

No beef in my sons beef chow mein. My general taos chicken was more like bland orange chicken. My fried rice was never fried. My wife's Kung pow chicken had LITERALLY 0 spice in it. One extra star for good dumplings. Other than that this place is utterly flavorless. Will not eat here again for free even.

The food itself is ok, not fabulous, not terrible. What really tanks this review is the horrible customer service. The staff are incredibly short with you, rude, and they will fight you on honoring the coupons on their own menu. It does not state on their menu or on any signage in store that the minimum to use a card is $10, yet if your order is less than $10, they will pressure you into buying more than you intended so they don't have to pay the merchant fee for the card transaction. They will repeat your order back correctly, but will send you home with the wrong food, so check your order before you take it with you. As for the food, I generally get the lo mein, chow mei fun, or sweet and sour chicken, which are about on-par with any other dingy strip-mall Chinese food joint Their eggrolls are sub-par, and their shrimp toast is horrible (I cannot even describe the level of greasy, soggy grossness.) If this were not the only chinese takeout on this side of town, I would never go back. *Update: 4 years later and I have not been back to this restaurant.

Always good, always fresh. Most of the comments bellow are probably based off of one bad experience. I eat there at least twice a month, every so often something is forgotten but if you call and explain it will get fixed. The food is wonderful. I love their local mein and the fried rice is the best in town

Ordered over the phone. They clearly had no idea what I wanted, as I got food that was completely different from my order. Normally love this place, but my order was wrong and the food wasn't good

The food was disgusting, I got beef on a stick that was to tough to chew, and fried rice that was instant rice with yellow food color added, a few tiny pieces of slimy chicken and frozen peas, carrots, and tons of onion because onion is cheap and it covers up the taste of slimy chicken., I went half hour before lunch special is over and they charged me dinner prices. This was my favorite place to eat, but not any more. The fried rice I make using a Chinese cook book is very good and cheap to make, and it is nothing like what Dragon City fried rice taste or looks like. I hope this place goes under soon, there are other places to eat.

Sometimes things taste a little weird but altogether great! My go to for Chinese. Delivery is VERY fast. The chicken has been the only thing to taste off to me, but that was only on one occasion.

The sweet and sour pork was very tasty as well as the ribs. The rice however, tasted burnt - a little odd. I also requested a Dr Pepper and received a Mountain Dew. The delivery was VERY fast!!!
