Our family has been going this place so many years. My kids’ favorite Japanese Restaurant. Always serving solid food and never disappointed us.
I had a roll and a udon here. They both tasted amazing. Service was very welcoming and warm. Wonderful restaurant. I would recommend to anyone. I’m definitely coming back!

My favorite Sushi place in Rockland County. Good food, Good Service. I go once or twice a week for lunch and I enjoy every minute I am there, a small lovely restaurant.The owners, service staff, chefs are all great people. Highly recommend Hinode!
Food was delish and service was equally superb. We ordered the special roll platter and the whole family loved it, even our young children. Definitely going to be my to go spot for sushi from now on.
My wife were looking for a new sushi place. Although Hinode is a little bit of a ride from our place in the Bronx it looked cute and different. Turned out to be a great choice. The food is excellent and adventurous. If you want very "traditional" sushi it may not be your style, although I am sure their more "traditional" choices are excellent as well. But we loved it. The Avocado Bomb ( as other's have pointed out ) is amazing their roles are delicious. It is also a a very warm and friendly and cozy atmosphere. The staff are genuinely welcoming and unassuming. Really loved this place and look forward to returning.
Really good sushi! I dine in and do takeout, both great. Very nice staff. They have great entrees and appetizers along with the sushi.
