Tony's Pizza And Subs

I used to love this Tony's on Augusta Road. I would call very often and order food on way home from work. For the past several months nobody answers the phone and if they actually do you are put on hold till you eventually hang up. I have taken my business to another local pizza business that always answers phone and food is just as good!!

I ordered food from the menu online by calling in( going by the website prices). After i called in they gave me a $20 more total than what it should have been. I inquired nicely why and after speaking with a manager, they would not honor the prices on the website . Said the prices had changed and would not honor the prices listed. I started coming to the area 5 years ago, later moved here, and been buying Tony'sseveral times per month. . Sad to say i will never go back.

Asked a simple question. "Do you cook on stone ovens". I was then answered "I guess" Asked for the party specials for delivery I was then put on hold for 10 minutes. After ten minutes he then tells me to hold on that he don't think they are delivering right now. It's 3:30pm so I gave up at this point. I needed at least 15 pizza for a get together. Big loss guys

The evening staff dont give a F....its like going to 2 totally different restaurants for lunch and dinner. Lunch/day staff is great. Prices are about 50% higher when you go in than what is advertised online and when i questioned this, the cashier just said "yea its probably an old menu" ...the online price for my food was $13.99 and i was charged $21.40. The food is good but not sure ill go back in the evenings for dinner.

Update: Thought I would give this place another try. They have doubled! More than doubled their prices! Can't believe it was $100 to feed 3. Something has happened here, maybe a change in management or new owners...whatever it is, it is for the worse. I used to visit this restaurant at least 1x per week. Their lasagna and pizza was delicious and worth the trip and price. The last 2 times I have went, I haven't been able to eat my food. The first of these 2 occasions, my lasagna was ice cold in the center, I had to give it back to the waitress. Last night I tried their southwestern chicken wrap and there was something spoiled in the wrap, there was a strong sour smell and it tasted sour, the chicken had been microwaved to the point it was like rubber, and the tortilla wrap wasn't even wrapped around the contents. It was so bad it felt as someone was playing a cruel joke. I've noticed none of the usual workers here anymore - just really young high school kids who don't seem to care.
