Review Mariscos Choix - Pico Rivera

A wonderful and surprising roadside spot in Pico Rivera -- fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Plenty of patio seating, friendly and attentive service, and phenomenally good food. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny: the beautifully prepared servings are huge, and beach city diners will be accustomed to paying more for much less. The delicately fried fish chicharones are a great shared appetizer, or a full meal in themselves. In three visits, I've ordered several different shrimp dishes and sushi rolls, and every one has been a winner. Printed menu is mostly in Spanish -- but with lots of photos, on-line bilingual menu and the helpful staff, my English-speaking parties had no trouble getting all the delicious food we could eat. Mariscos Choix (pronounced "choice") is a treasure, and I'm eager to return. Highly recommended!

Went to have breakfast for the first time with my husband late Sunday morning. Atmosphere was pleasant. They have both outside and inside seating. We sat outside. Everything was clean. Waitress was friendly. Food was good. Will have to return for dinner.

It was our first time there the service was excellent the place nice and clean the food itself was outstanding I would recommend this place to my family and friends 💯👍

Good spot, visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, the weather was warm so I was craving a Michelada and a Coctel de campechana(mixed seafood cocktail). Both of the items I ordered suited the occasion refreshingly, service was quick and staff is friendly and attentive, I did have a minor negative critique, I had a couple fries from my nieces left over dish and It was obvious they cook their fries in the same oil as they do their seafood, I personally didn't mind, but I know some folks that would definitely complain about it, so just a heads up folks. All in all we will definitely be going back since they have an extensive list of items on their menu wich look delicious! Follow my work @pcfabrications thanks folks!

Happy Hour all weekend on the patio! $2 dollar any beer and $2 oyster shooters and other $2 menu items can't go wrong. Did not want to share our secret hole in the wall! Hope you enjoy this spot like we do!

I took my Goddaughter for her birthday. She had a shrimp tostada, and she wanted some dessert. She seen the picture of the churros with ice cream. I order her one. When the waitress brought the churros there was no ice cream. I asked the waitress what happened to the ice cream. She told us they stop serving that dessert with ice cream. I told her, she should of mentioned that to us. My niece was disappointed. Waitress didn't even asked if we wanted something else instead of the churros... Manager, needs to get together with the waitress and let them know menu has changed.

We love coming here. The food and staff are the best. The beers are always cold and to top it off they now serve Tequila! �� I would highly recommend it. Thanks Mariscos Choix Downey

Setting it Straight. For all the doubters out there, know that this place is under new management and complaints have been revised and addressed complaints are past tense. As a person that drives a long haul for a living I've seen it all. what I really admire about this place is that it's super clean second everything is high end, from the digital Menu to the flat screen tv's to the decor and color scheme in the interior and exterior of the restaurant. I can count on attentive and genuine customer service something that is fading away in small business. Last their Micheladas are perfect not to mention their house salsa and award-winning mayonnaise followed by the incredible oyster shots and Governador and fresh Marlin tacos. Be a leader and filter out the bs and go give this place a visit, you'll be happy and proud you did so. AnimO.�

The best sea food in Pico Rivera!!! All the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly ... highly recommended ���micheladas and pajuelasos are the bomb ���

Me and my husband got food to go and when we got it home it was so not worth the price we paid the portions were not worth the 12.95 we paid for each order of agua chile they gave us 12 packs of crackers 6 tostadas and lime and salsa the only problem was the portions were only enough for 1 tostada each order and we were left with all that extra stuff for nothing we were still hungry after eating that sorry order. We have paid the same price for a platter of agua chile elsewhere and it serves 8 this was not even enough for 2 tostadas they came in these big foam boxes that were practically empty with just 4 pieces of cucumber and 10 shrimp and a sliver of avacado and there agua chile sauce. I never felt so ripped off. The kids meal was unedible the fries tastes like chemicals and chicken nuggets too my son spit it out. Next time I will go to playa Nayarte in el monte. I won't be going their ever again !Never again.!$29.95 for this I don't think so!

I ordered aguachiles and it was just limón con tapatio really??? Not the aguachiles i expected I have had better mariscos The only good thing I liked from there was there micheladas I will not be going back really disappointed me

This place is amazing! Would definitely go back. The chicharrones de pargo are the bomb. The restaurant is very clean inside and the customer service was excellent.

Went over the weekend with my sister and daughter. Food was good � and mecheladas were a good size and Delicious�. The only thing that I disliked was that There was a group of older people yelling and screaming. At one point it seem like or should I say sounded like they were fighting. I understand we all want to have a good time. But it was so uncomfortable I wanted to get up and walk out. But being it was our first time there. we had to stay and give it a try. We've been wanting to try out this restaurant since they opened and we've heard good things about it on facebook. I wouldn't mind going back just hope the Rowdy people keep it down next time�
