Norms Restaurant

Can always count on Norm's for good food and service. My wife's T-bone steak was even better than anticipated and the Bigger Better Breakfast is an excellent value. I love that the hash browns are not at all greasy like some other places. We prefer the Pico Rivera location so we drive the extra 10 miles.

The meat was tender and tasty. The bread was the finest rye I have ever had. Russian dressing, cheese and coleslaw were the perfect compliment! Our server, Sue, was amazing. She appropriately harassed one of our group for ordering French sauce (which he said was delicious) and brought him a piece of pastrami to taste. She drank the refills before we needed to ask (brought a fresh lemon for my drink each time, which is my measure of a great server). We had a party so we had to wait a little longer.

Pleasantly surprised... It had been a while since I was there... Recently I noticed some negative reviews ??? ... I'm glad I checked for myself... It was excellent... The food was hot the way it should be & the portions are generous ... Our server was great too ... She stayed on top of the coffee ... Keeping my cup full ... Sometimes you have to do your own checking... Not all people have the same taste ...

I usually go to the norms in whittier but decided to go to this one instead. They were busy as usual and that's okay however my bacon and hash browns were cooked way too much it was burnt, the over easy eggs were also over well (almost burnt) but the Pancakes were cooked perfectly. I didn't want to complain so I finished the whole plate and I still tipped because the service was still good. Bottom line I will still return next time I'm in the area but ill probably go to a different location. Norms food is usually great its just this one time.

We chose a place near our motel and with good reviews. They didn't guess. The place seems to be popular. A lot of people! But there are also a lot of tables. Nimble and charming waiters. Portions are very large! Dinner with two margaritas, BBQ salad, lasagna and steak was $80 with tips. This establishment left a good impression. Would like to recommend it!
