Burger King

The reason why I'm giving this location 4 stars is because of their dining room close hours, we went super hungry on 2/4/2023 and when we got off our truck and walked to the door they were already locked at 8:00pm on a Saturday... like really? Who closes that early on a Saturday?! There was a man eating inside which most likely was the last customer to go in. We ended up going through their drive thru. Their food was on point and this is the first time ever in years that a fast food place DOESN'T mess up my order... every other place always forgets items from my order or gets it wrong, but not this Burger King! And the lady that assisted us was very nice 🙂

Best food and service I ever have had at any Burger King. I always ask for fresh fries, and I’ve learned to ask that the double meat Whopper not be prepared until the fries are done, that way it’s as fresh as the fries. The gentleman who took my order walked straight to the back, and instructed the cooks how to insure the fries and burger came up together. Wow! Once the meal was ready I sat down to eat and was immediately impressed. The meat patties were warm, and tasty. The vegetables on the burgers were very fresh. The fries were perfect. These people must enjoy what they do and are happy to serve to turn out such a great meal. Seemed like the whole staff had a great attitude.

Ordered at the drive Thru. The price for the double cheese burger was $8 and change. Medium combo. This was a lot more than I am used to paying so as I drove up to the drive thru I asked the person at the window how long had he been working there. Just 2 months he replied. If he had been working there for awhile I was going to ask him about the price increase. So I just replied OK and gave him my credit card. When he returned my credit card he was genuinely concerned that he had done something wrong as he asked me why I wanted to know how long he had worked there. So I told him and he replied, "oh I thought I had done something wrong". WOW! What customer service. So I took this opportunity to tell him about the price differences over the last few years and the increases and how many fast-food companies and other companies are scamming their customers by pretending that inflation is the reason their prices are going up so much when they are raising their prices much higher than what is needed to cover inflation. Then I asked him if it was OK if I asked how much he gets paid and he replied $14 per hour. So I told him good! I was surprised. That isn't bad pay. He told me he had been working for ten months at Burger King and he switched to this store because of the higher pay. As I told him, I do not mind paying more if that increase is also being shared to the workers. I wish restaurants would post the starting wage they pay their employees and the average wage as I would use that as a big factor of which restaurant I will choose to spend my money with. I complemented him on the great job he was doing and drove off to eat my BK double Chees burger. I do love their double cheese burgers for some reason. lol.
