Godavari - Phoenix - Photo album

My family and I really enjoyed this place. We dined in and shared a few plates between the 5 of us. The chicken biryani and the chicken tikka masala we ordered were very good, but a little spicy for our youngest. The garlic chicken dish was better for him. We all loved the bread basket. So delicious
You have to look at all of these reviews appropriately. People who write one review either supporting or not supporting should be ignored. As an Indian person who frequently visits Indian restaurants, I will say that this place is absolutely top tier in terms of its lunch buffet. All of the items we
We stumbled upon this place because not many restaurants were open for dine-in. We have found a new favorite! The food was absolutely incredible, with so many options for my omnivore family and my vegan self. The service was incredible and I was so excited to eat out for the first time in months. It
Okay....Yummers!! FInally some decent Indian takeout that delivered to downtown Phoenix! Coming from the Bay Area, I've been pretty spoiled with Indian food. We have tried a few different local Indian joints and it's been hit or miss.... but this place is definitely a hit! Food was super tasty a
As a foodie, I am always "IN" for trying new places. Since this new restaurant opened last week, I have decided to try this place to try their Weekend Grand lunch buffet. I was surprised by the number of people showed up today for their lunch buffet. I must appreciate their marketing team for creati
This was the closest Indian restaurant to us and we wanted to eat as local as possible. We were the only ones in the dining area (due to covid Probably). The server was helpful in helping us make a choice and the food was quickly served to us. I wondered if the food was frozen before or prepared
Tried this new Southern Indian restaurant the other day and it was very good! We ordered delivery, so this review is from the menu, not the buffet. We ordered the Gunter (garlic) Naan, which was the best Naan I have ever had. The Palau Paneer, (homemade cheese pieces in a creamed spinach sauce with
I ordered the vegetable szechuan style fried rice and the baby corn manchurian. Both of them are very tasty. They serve masala papad on the house with 2 types of chutneys. The papad is spicy and very tasty, green chutney is my favorite. Staff is very friendly too, and the bill was given in a camel p
The food here is absolutely incredible. The owner and chef go above and beyond to make your dining experience wonderful. They have made recommendations with every visit and always make our family feel welcomed. We have yet to be disappointed. Highly recommended.
Going by Godavari’s franchise reputation in other parts of USA, this one in Phoenix doesn’t disappoint. Pretty much everything was good. Wish they had dosa for buffet but anyways great food. Will go back.
Nicely spiced curries. Chole batura and paneer Tikka masala (quality inconsistent) good. Nice service. Would go again.
Got their non-veg combo for lunch. It was actually pretty good and the portions of the items on the combo was not bad at all. I do admit I was little hesitant at first but since it was so close to here I was staying decided to give it a chance and I have no regrets. I'm actually thinking of doing a
Their fish curry was really good. Though I ordered mild spices but the spice level was pretty high. If you are not spice lover don't order high spicy food. Pomfret fry was pretty decent. Their malai tea was good. If you are looking halal food double check with them. Overall food quality was ok
Tried there buffet and dinner to go.. Definitely mind blowing flavours, this is a perfect spot for Indian food
