Delicious tacos. Buche, Pastor (no pineapple), Cabeza, and Lengua were all tender and flavorful. Salsa verde is my fav as it's got that tomatillo tanginess with a slight spiciness. Salsa roja has a heavy fish sauce taste and a lot more spiciness. Horchata sold out as I was eating and for good reason, it's really good.

The atmosphere is laid back, clean, open and genuine. There wasn't much of a line when I arrived, but it moved fast. I ordered 4 tacos which were reasonably priced - they arrived at my table relatively quickly.
It was a nice bonus to also be served with two bottles of house made salsa (green and red) to add to the tacos. The spice and flavor of the salsas paired nicely with the tacos and gave them the extra kick they needed. Sadly there was no option for guacamole but I was able to get a side of avocado.
The tacos themselves were excellent but lacked some additional spices and flavor in the meats. There was no shortage of meat in each taco - a key feature when ordering small street tacos.
I would definitely visit again! If you want authentic Mexican food are in this are, I recommend Tacos Sahuaro!

2023.07.04 back after a while. Pastor, carnitas, and cabeza tacos. Delicious and filling, great pickled vegetables. Guest from Guatemala by way of Boston enjoyed his as well
2023.12.08 stopped by for lunch with local friends. Tacos for me were delicious as always, they enjoyed the quesadilla and chile relleno

I orderd 6 tacos but only ate 3. They are big. I had Buche, asada, biria. The Buche was a bit more well done than I am used to, but I will admit, I like it alot. The asada was solid. The biria a bit dry. There is dry and wet biria and I did not ask how they served it. I absolutely loved how they cooked the tortillas, a bit well done and I want to Say they oiled them up a bit. They added a good texture to each bite. I wish I could finish the rest but thy are not the Street taco size. They are big boy size. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and tastes. Sorry for not taking a before picture but here is the after.

We tried the pastor and asada tacos, delicious with lots of meat in each taco, and the tortillas were amazing. Tried the strawberry lemonade, and it was tasty, not too sweet. The homemade salsas they brought out were so good, I could drink the verde with a straw. Will be coming back.

Just had the best GORDITS, this side of the border 😁 so good I went back the next day (today) ANNA🥰😘😍 gave me fantastic customer service, with a friendly smile 😊 I had the chorizo GORDITA😋 and a carne asada one, with a agua de melon 🍈 today I had 2 chorizo GORDITAS, lizbeth was just as friendly, thank you. Somehow, the one day dedicated to celebrating tacos doesn't fall on a Taco Tuesday this year. Instead, National Taco Day is Thursday, October 4 -- aka TODAY.
Nevertheless, any day that involves free tacos and all sorts of taco discounts is a good day. Especially one with so many tacos gratis at popular restaurants all across the country. You could spend the entire day loading up on freebies at national fast-casual joints. You could even have tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner without spending much.

One of the best taco places we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the asada tacos and quesadillas, we will definitely come back when we come back to Phoenix. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The fish taco here is great. I don't love how small the pieces of fish are, but that is me being picky. The lengua can really use some more cooking time to tenderize it. The tortilla is very good, and so is all the pickled carrots. I do really love how friendly the service is. It goes a long way making people want to come back.

Super tasty carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor pork! Homemade flour and corn tortillas as a bonus! Got a couple of combinations so we could try a bunch of their meat choices. It was a lot of food! Can’t wait to try their gorditas and breakfast burritos!

This is a neighborhood gem! If you want legit-authentic tacos, I urge you to give Sahuaro Tacos a try…you will not regret it! The carne asada tacos are 1990’s Reggie Miller clutch status - always a win. The beef is grilled to tender perfection, no chewy or hard bits of beef. The tortillas was on point. We had the iced juice waters - watermelon & pineapple…on a 115 degree day, they were a heaven send.
Will definitely be coming back for more!

Customer service here is great! My son brought us here to try them out, as he's been here several times. He majored in Hospitality Mgmt, so he knows customer service and food, firsthand! They did not disappoint either. He recommended the Gorditas. OMG, delicious and flavorful! Street tacos, same! The cashier gave my daughter a sample of the Birria. It was flavorful and delish. We tried a variety of meats like the chicken, lengua, tripas, carnitas and buche (first time trying this). I wasn't really a fan of it, but all the other meats were delish! ...The cashier is very pleasant, courteous and she welcomed us back. We brought my hubby here on our second visit within just a few days. He enjoyed the food as well. There are several tables to sit and dine at. They also bring cukes, limes, pickled carrots/jalapenos and green and red salsa to your table. Try it, you will come back for more Gorditas! Ummmm!

This is my favorite family Mexican restaurant in Phoenix. I always leave satisfied. The corn tortillas are so delicious. The menudo is my favorite. I am a menudo aficionado! The hot sauces are deliciously firey. I think it's cash only. That may have changed.

Tries this place based on reviews. Order tongue carnitas and asada. Stay away from the tongue, it was hard ! No flavor. The asada was over cooked. The carnival were great and the horchata was spot on. Came expecting better than what I got and they are overpriced.
