food was deliciousss. 10/10! The cocktail I ordered was great as well, could definitely taste the alcohol. our server was kind. service was a little slow which was odd because the restaurant looked mostly empty but maybe they were short staffed for the night. regardless, i can totally see myself coming back here again:)

Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was good. There were a couple of hiccups, but management quickly rectified it. So, I would recommend Mellow Mushroom. Enjoy and happy eating.

This is the BEST pizza west of the Mississippi River. The crust is perfectly crisp on the base with a tender "chewy" middle. The Holy Shiitake Pie was incredible. It takes the traditional mushroom pie and cranks it up several levels with the garlic cream swirl and truffle oil atop a medley of mushrooms and perfectly caramelized onions and herbs. The Mightly Meat was also incredible with enough to form a second pie! The only thing better than the food was the service by the staff who offer customer service that could rival the best Chick-fil-A. Perfectly suitable for family pizza night, or a good time out with friends. Nice and funky spot that looks like it was plucked out of a hip and cool Seattle neighborhood 😎

The Mellow Mushroom on High Street has been a local favorite since 2012. This funky, art-filled chain pizzeria features craft beer, calzones, and creative stone-baked pizzas. The restaurant has a rock-n-roll theme that creates an entertaining, laid-back atmosphere for local pizza and beer aficionados. It also offers an extensive lunch specials, Sunday brunch, and vegetarian options. The Mellow Mushroom on High Street is located near the Musical Instrument Museum. Covered parking is available in the garage across High Street. Fantastic artistic pizza with a flakey crust. Killer reverse happy hour!

Staff went above and beyond to go over the menu (first timers!) Made excellent suggestions and the portion was enormous! Tons of leftovers! Will definitely be back! The Great White Pizza was Devine, we added spinach!

Danielle was an absolute life saver. We had a catering order fall through from an unnamed northeast based sub chain that rhymes with Persey Likes, and were scrambling to get an order for 60 hungry conference Attendees. Danielle came in on her day off and made it happy. Thanks so much!!

Brought the fam in for lunch on a Sunday. And oh my goodness the pizza simply knocked it out of the park. Flavorful and heavy; one to two slices of a large was enough for everyone in the party. A few things to keep in mind: A small has four slices, medium has six, and a large has eight. Get the pretzels. You can mix your pizza order and get half made one way and half another way. The cost was a bit pricey for a pizza restaurant but honestly, there’s lesser pizza that is far more expensive nearby so you could do much worse. Overall, I recommend you try it at least once. We’ll be back again.

The manager was amazing, the server was patient with my group, I really appreciated that. The food was delicious too, i always make sure to tip properly when using a Groupon.

We met up with some friends and ordered Pizza, wings, pretzel bites and drinks. The food has always been good at the Mellow Mushroom and they have a great selection of drinks. They accommodate large parties.

I live in SoCal and I go to MLB spring training every year in AZ, and stop into Mellow Mushroom is a *must go-to every year, unfortunately the AZ locations are the closet MMs to me and they are 6 hours away. I have been a huge fan for 20 years and have been to them over the country (AL,GA,TN, FL,IN, NC, CO, AZ, and MI! The pizza dough is simply the best and the beer selection is always delightful, Elysian Space Dust is my usual go to, but this time the Mother Road Tower Station IPA (Flagstaff, AZ brewery) was a delightful supplement. If you like a good pizza and you like like craft beer, you won’t be disappointed. This location is awesome, a huge outdoor patio to chill when the weather is nice.

Very cool bar and restaurant. Good appetizers and great drinks.

The fact that they serve delicious pizza up until midnight or 1am is a dream. Great space, friendly and fun! Go to for after shows in the Phoenix area.

I tried out this placed based upon its reviews - I ordered a Large Kosmic Karma pizza (found under "Specialty Pies"). It was pretty good pizza, although I was a little disappointed by the amount of feta cheese on it. I took a close-up pic and it doesn't lie - there wasn't much on there and as a result, it didn't add much flavor. There's no question that the pizza would have been better if there had been more. But, it was a nice combination of ingredients and the pizza tasted good otherwise. The issue with this location is the parking - there is none. Mellow Mushroom is situated in a large shopping center with many business and restaurants in the vicinity; and not nearly enough parking. I was just picking up a pizza and couldn't find a place to park. I drove around for 15 min. and eventually just parked (illegally I think next to a dumpster) so I could run in, grab the pie and get out of there. I'd like to try their food again, but the parking is such a nuisance, that I can't say I'll come back. And I get that it isn't Mellow Mushroom's fault, but it does affect my decision to give them repeat business. Too bad. EDIT: This place has become one of my favorite pizza places. When I first tried it, I came at night and didn't see signs for the ENORMOUS parking garage about a block away. The owner reached out, and sure enough, it's right where he said. The owner also sent me a gift card after my initial review (thank you!). So the next time I stopped in a got a beer while I waited for a pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by the inside. It has a cool music theme that goes far beyond your run-of-the-mill pizza places and a great beer selection. If you get pizza, I recommend trying the Great White or Holy Shitake - you can't go wrong with either one.

The pizza was delicious! Love that they have vegan options. I got a buffalo tofu pizza with vegan cheese. The menus were dirty and needed cleaning. Server was nice.

The restaurant is located on High Street and the quality of the pizza is superb! Very very good pizza. Great selection of beers, family friendly, patio is great. One issue I had was parking. Limited parking on the streets, however there is a parking garage available.
