The ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant, creating a favorable dining atmosphere. The selection of sushi is moderate, with most rolls being of the American-style sushi variety. The overall menu design and choices resemble more of an izakaya, featuring dishes that are primarily meant to compl
I’ve eaten at Sakana just shy of three decades. Why? Quality and consistency. Every time I’ve been in their fine establishment, it’s packed. Wait staff is prompt and usually knows the menu well. The food is delicious and always fresh. You can sit at the sushi bar and watch the cooks prepare your pla
Always a good and fun and great sushi prices have gone up considerably since covid though
Delicious sushi and great deals! Buy a beer and get an appetizer half off.
Server was super attentive, left full and happy.
The Cali roll in my taste had a little too much Mayo, but that is just my preference
Ok I get it AZ is hard to do good sushi and in a dire search for food before a movie I saw this had decent reviews so since I was already craving sushi we decided to risk it!!
Well totally worth the risk the night was a little slow but in the end totally with every last bite!!
This has officially
Bluefin Toro for starters. Unbelievable how tasty and fresh is the sushi at Sakana. 2nd round was oysters on the half shell. OmG those are to die for and do pour some of the homemade spicy sauce on them. Round three were three rolls. Of the three ordered I recommend the Yum Yum the most. Great sushi
Some sushi joints make a bunch of rolls using the imitation crab but then they all taste the same no matter what you order, right? Well Not This Place! Every roll was delicious and unique. Beautiful to look at and to eat. Our waitress was amazing too. Very laid back with our party of 11. We have bi
Sakana used to be a hidden gem for really good sushi at a cheaper price than most. But the restaurant hasn’t really recovered from Covid. The baked scallop roll is still great, and sushi is good. It’s just not as good or as cheap. I recommend skipping those things made in the kitchen. Not so hot.
Sakana is the best in the valley for fresh fish at a reasonable price. Their portions are large, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. Add to that great service and it's a can't miss!
The service is always amazing and the quality is even better than that. It's still the best sushi in Arizona. One of the places I truly look forward to going out to eat. As I know it's going to be quality every time. And it's really not that expensive if you go during happy hour. The pictures tagged
I ordered my sushi to go since I was on my lunch break. The “Host” or “cashier” was not very friendly and he seemed irritated by my order “to-go” . The sushi was tasty and the gyozas paired well with the sweet and sour sauce. The only thing I would change is to have a larger shrimp in the sushi. See
I normally go to another location on Indian Bend & Hayden. Alway have an excellent service and good size of sushi. Here I ordered two rolls, both of them were ok, 3+.
Blood orange roll size was too small and the salmon on the top of the roll was paper thin.
Second Las Vegas roll was even worse. The
Favorite appetizer at @azsakanasushi was the Jalapeño Boat! 🌶It is a jalapeño stuffed with cream Cheese , Krab Mix & Spicy Mayo! INCREDIBLE ! The perfect Mix , MUST HAVE!🤤
.azsakanasushi has mouth watering sushi! From just an ordinary sushi OR you can try their specialty sushis’ which you can’t go
Amazing service, super busy and glasses always full. The sushi variety was amazing, variety of chu and toro from multiple fish. Clearly they break down alot of whole fish. The spicy edamame was so good, just kept my mouth on fire until it was empty. They had Blue Fin and it was great, but the Salmon
Went there on Friday bout 6ish and it was moderately busy in dining room but no one at the hibachi tables. Ordered a bunch of sushi and maki to go rather than dine in. Sat at bar while waiting for food and their liquor and beer selection was extremely limited. Bartender said they are revamping their
First time here, when we first sat down I was a little worried about eating here, I was looking for something a bit more high end. They don't have a lot of exotic fish, but what they do have is very fresh. Not talking about rolls here, sorry that is beneath me. I'm taking about sashimi and nigiri.
