One of the top 2 BBQ place in Maricopa county I enjoy the brisket sandwich and the pudding, the ice tea is very authentic and the sauce is to die for I really enjoy this place and it seem clean and is super tasty. Go to this place you will not be disappointed.
Saw this place was here and decided to stop in, and I am glad I did! First off, it's close to home, so that is great. Second, the BBQ was delicious! I recommend the jalapeno hot links with the mustard sauce - off the charts! Ribs were also good - I like when I have to pull a bit to get them off the bone and these were just right! Love the grilled broccoli as well - makes a nice counterpoint to the meat. And the cookies were excellent - sweet with just a little salt!
One of the best lunches I've had in a while. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back for more.
From Texas so a bit of a BBQ snob. Was not impressed with this place at all. Brisket was dry and chewy, sausage was ok, beans were bland, Mac and cheese was runny and bland, corn bread was chewy (no idea how you make cornbread chewy).
Update : Been back several times now and this place has redeemed itself, must have visited on an off day. Good experience last 4 visits.
Recommend.
Seriously the best smoked meat in the valley bar none. I am a bbq snob and their meat is best.
Nice turkey sandwich in a hidden venue. Remember to add the peach pie.
The staff was ready to serve as we walked in. It's almost like the operation stopped until we ordered. It was later in the evening with one other family there.
My son was visiting in Christmas break from the military and wanted us to take him to some of it new spots.
With Naked BBQ I didn't have to worry if the food was going to be good because they're very consistent.
My son had a great time and are more then he usually does.
The ribs were tender and full of flavor as was the brisket. I could taste that the potato salad was made with fresh ingredients. The Mac and cheese was delicious and creamy. The cookie was big and good flavor. The only disappointment was the bread. Not very flavorful. Will definitely be back again!
I’ve been in the North Phoenix location and Scottsdale location and both are fantastic. Pulled pork, brisket are both good and the only meats I can speak for.
I like their cornbread/corncake, potato salad, beans and coleslaw in that order.
Only negative, if you want to call it a negative is that both of their sauces are sweet, but good!
I will most likely head to NakedQ anytime BBQ is mentioned from now on.
We've tried a LOT of BBQ all across the country and I think Naked BBQ might be up for taking the crown from our previous favorite in downtown Wichita. Cleverly named so as to inform that their meats are not covered up by a slathering of sauce from which the flavor is obtained, Naked's meats themselves are the star of the show. And they do shine indeed!
This may be the most flavorful array of proteins I've ever had. The pulled pork and brisket are a must. And the beef rib is certainly something to behold! Even the sides (we had potato salad, mac and cheese, garlic broccoli, beans, and cornbread) were mild and pure in their taste.
Not to outdo the food, the service and attentiveness of the staff stood out as well. These are people who are very obviously proud of what they serve and really REALLY want you to have an enjoyable and memorable meal. I can't recommend this place highly enough!!!
Very impressive bbq. The sides are also amazing: potato salad and beans for sure. Prices are fair and the portions are filling. Bbq sauces are great. Highly recommend if you are a bbq conneseur.
The ribs are tender and the brisket is the best I have ever had. Potatoes salad is fresh and so good. BBQ beans were awesome. My favorite BBQ place now!!
Very good food, interestingly hidden behind other buildings on Bell Rd. I've been here once before and liked it, now being in the area I came again and will do so every time I'm around here. Good taste on meat and sauces, salad was great as well.
I recommend this place to all meat lovers, you'll be coming back once you taste it.
The most recent reviews were on point. Deadly food!
We travel quite a bit and hit 2-4 local bbq places each time we go but saw this one driving by towards our way out. We waited the 30 minutes until it opened - at which point there was a group gathered to go in. (Always a good sign)
Normally I don’t order turkey or love chicken but this time I tried smoked turkey 🦃.
Smoked turkey - Soooo good. It was moist and delicious. Definitely recommended.
Pulled pork 🐖- A generous helping of pulled pork. It was moist, medium shredded and definitely a winner. I would venture to say the best pulled pork we’ve tried.
Mac and cheese - I try this dish at every bbq joint we hit. This was creamy with a a nice flavour. It stayed moist but not overdone. You have to try this!
Coleslaw - it was good, would have again. Not too special, but I did notice there was two versions on the menu board. I don’t know which one I had.
Brisket - this simple brisket had a great bark and was the best ever. You need to grab this dish!
Sausage links - so delicious with a little kick!
Potato salad and beans were good but I think we’d stick to the other sides next time!
Review from my seven year olds on the ribs:
“The ribs were awesome! I would go back like 10x a week! The sweet sauce was really, really good!” Then added “the pulled piggy 🐷(pulled pork in our family 😉) was amazing!” They give it ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 5/5 from us!”
This is a must stop place. They serve / are open until they are sold out - which I could see happening early. Worth the drive!
Great fresh bbq. I tried the 2 item platter. The ribs were sliced off the rack and brisket was sliced in front of me. Mac & cheese , potato salad and cornbread finished my meal. Staff was friendly and let me know sauce options as they serve their meats naked, no sauce. Look forward to coming back.
Great pulled pork BBQ.
The backed beans were also delicious
Try the Peach pie!
