Absolutely delicious and wait staff was courteous, prompt and absolutely delightful. Friend suggested this pub while I was in town from Denver and I will be back!
Love this place! The fish n chips are excellent and the Irish Nachos are fantastic. We went on a Friday night and they had a band there it was really fun! I had to go back for the Irish Nachos yesterday and a beer. They're excellent! Can't wait to try other menu items!
Great place to chill and listen to some live music! Didn't eat anything because we showed up later on in the evening. Next time, I will try out the menu.
Most authentic Irish Pub I’ve ever been in! Very nostalgic place great whiskey selection and Irish beers and the food looks really good too!
Great pub, fun atmosphere and good food. Nice bar that has a local feel to it but very welcoming to visitors. The Kilt Lifter was a darn good beer (Scottish Ale). Fish and chips were good too. Process are very reasonable. Check it out, you'll enjoy it.
Seamus McCaffrey’s is an Irish Pub in downtown Phoenix and there are not that many ghosts there anymore, there used to be several ghosts and a few demons which lived in the walls but it’s all good now. Don’t worry about it ya jerks just go there and have a burger Geeze.
The food is good, the vibe is awesome! Just visiting Phoenix and been to many bars over the past week and this is definitely my favorite!
The food was Fabulous, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Will definitely will go back!
LOVEEEEEEEE This place! the atmosphere is amazing! The have the bestttttt wings everrrr! great prices!
Our first experience here was awesome!!! Burgers as big as your heads and they are so delicious! If you're lucky enough to have Kim as your waitress, tip her well. She made my day with her kindness and great service. We will be back for sure!
2017 was one of the best years yet for their St. Patrick's Day celebration. Great bands, great food, great people.
Must go! Great food, atmosphere, and most importantly can not find a better staff of good people!!! Cheers
While I have family visiting this week we decided to check out some supposed haunted spots in the city. My brother loves that kinda stuff. First stop was the Hotel San Carlos. After we decided to stop in here for some lunch and I'm glad we did. Very cool Irish pub with more history than I knew. When we arrived they were serving their lunch specials and we all decided on the fish and chips. While we waited we talked with our waitress and well as one of the managers who both told us how patrons have said to of seen a spirit at the edge of the bar who quickly vanishes. Some also spooked in the men's bathroom up a small staircase. There are some tunnels under both here and hotel. Interesting for sure. Our food came out pretty quick and looked great. The fish was golden outside, crispy and full of flavor. The fries were crisp on the outside but a bit mush in middle. I'd of liked them more if they'd been fried and extra minute. Service was awesome and didn't have to ask for anything. They also sell T-shirt's and hoodies if interested. Pretty good size bar, very popular later in the day with its late night hours. Huge bar with you guessed it...plenty of alcohol!
Absolutely LOVE this pub ! Wonderful place to grab a late night bite and some ice cold pints. Atmosphere is very lively and cozy. Would recommend this pub as the spot to meet up with friends and family. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.
Went over Halloween weekend. Loved the decor - original and Halloween themed. Ally the bartender is amazing-sweet and professional! The vibe is chill and will definitely go back!
This is a place you want to bring your friends and family very great environment for the day for family feud relax moderate game. Nightlife great place to have a good football game soccer game hockey. Great beer good service. Food is amazing. Little pricey but for the experience and location worth it.
Liz was a dynamite bartender. Too busy to chit chat, but a marvel to watch. Food on time, drinks never empty! The Shepard's our was great. I am stuffed! Good dinner!
Cool Irish pub, very authentic vibe. Had the steak and mushroom pie. I don't think I stopped to breath eating it, was so good.
My with did stop me from licking the bowl.
We stumbled upon this place after a food show. I love a good Guinness and this place was as close as I've found since I left home. A bit of a Bishop's collar, but it tasted so fine.
I must add that they do not skimp on a straight whiskey pour!
Great little Irish pub. The actual size isn't small, large bar and plenty of space to sit and spread out. Good selection of beer and alcohol. Did not order food but it smelled great. Service was spot on and attentive. Definitely someplace I would frequent if in the area again.
Stepping into Seamus McCaffrey's Irish Pub was a delightful journey into the heart of Ireland itself, where the menu boasts traditional Irish fare like fish and chips and hearty stews that transport you straight to the Emerald Isle. However, it's the whisky selection that truly elevates the experience, with an astonishing variety of Bourbons, Irish Whiskey, and Scotch Whisky that could easily make any whisky enthusiast's heart skip a beat. If whisky's your game, then downtown's compass points directly here. Amidst this spirited haven, our bartender "Liz" orchestrated an exceptional experience, ensuring each moment was steeped in warmth and personal attention, making us feel like cherished guests.
This is a downtown must. We wanted to grab a quick drink before a concert. We found a spot at the bar, and the place was packed. Only one bartender who was running crazy. This led to us only getting one drink as she was able to get to us once in the 45 minutes we were sitting there.
We stopped by for an early dinner before going to a nearby show. Our server, Jeni, was an absolute joy. She was so high energy, attentive, and helpful. A real masterclass in customer service.
Our food was also delicious! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly and we'd absolutely come back.
Only downside is the prices are a tad on the high side. 2 entrees and an appetizer ran us $70 (including tip of course.)
But still a 5 star experience.

HUGE SHOUTOUT to Bre as she was very welcoming, friendly & timely for my wife & I’s first time in the city!
We ordered a Western Bacon Cheeseburger & the Mango Habanero Chicken Wings; which she was more than knowledgeable on the menu and was able to inform us on items that were not on the menu, but matched our taste buds!
The burger was a definite 10 out of 10, and the fries were pretty tasty & very fresh as well! The chicken wings were about an 8 out of 10! Had they been cooked a little bit longer/crispier, they would have definitely been a 10 out of 10!
We would definitely come again; simply because Bre was AMAZING!
Great job to her and the rest of the staff!
went for lunch on sunday. Manager pretty much by himself, bar not that busy. Service was fine, manager was friendly. Not a great bar for watching sports, small TVs, layout not great, could hear the TV, that I was not watching. But we went for shephards pie, which was great and beer, lots of great irish choices. I would definitely go back and want to try their chicken pot pie and fish and chips.
Lovely Irish pub with great food and atmosphere to boot. Highly recommend. Cornbeef & cabbage is perfectly cook , fish & shrimp with chips is delicious. Not overly priced or crowed. We will definitely be coming back.
Great atmosphere. Great service. Shepherds pie was tasty and hardy.
Had to try the corned beef boxty. Delicious! The bar keep was knowledgeable and inviting. Really glad I had this experience!!
I've lived in Dtphx for 22 years and I absolutely love Seamus McCaffrey's Irish Pub! It starts with the front door security, all of which are extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar staff is absolutely the best; professional, make amazing cocktails, knowledgeable, fast, friendly, and which I really appreciate - they're experienced (somethings you rarely find in a Dtphx bartender).
They serve fantastic traditional food (I highly recommend the Irish stew & Shepherd's Pie) as well as sandwiches and burgers...you won't leave hungry! They have an amazing selection of Irish, American, Japanese, and Canadian Whiskey. I prefer the single malt scotch and again their selection is huge...including The Macallan 30 Fine Oak. Great selection of craft beer but who's going to pass up a Guinness or Smithwicks when sitting on a stool at a traditional Irish Pub?
It has a perfectly old school authentic Irish Pub atmosphere, the vibe is upbeat and friendly, and you will find many locals to assist you if you're new in town or visiting. It's adjacent to the the haunted San Carlos Hotel - which makes for some good conversation. Nice quaint outdoor patio in front and occasionally they bring in the best local Irish bands.
Seamus is a must "go to" bar!
We stopped by for dinner before a concert nearby. The hard ciders were excellent and the waitress friendly. My shepherds pie was excellent, but my partner's steak and mushroom dish was barely room temperature. The Irish soda bread that came with each meal was tiny. Once we decided on dessert, it was hard to find our waitress, and we were very surprised at how very cold the whisky cake was, considering it was served with ice cream. We have mixed feelings, but we might try it again.
We had Mikey as our server, and he was awesome! The food is pretty good, but a little greasy which is to be expected from and Irish pub. It is a super cute authentic little pub. Big fan
