Chino Bandido offers a unique culinary experience, blending Asian and Mexican flavors seamlessly. The fusion of dishes like Jade Red Chicken and Jerk Fried Rice is creative and flavorful. The casual atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a must-try for those seeking something beyond traditional cuisine. Chino Bandido not only delights the taste buds but also offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, considering the generous portions.

Flew down in a small plane with a friend from the area, and tried out Chino Bandido. He raved about it, and I wanted to give it a shot, since it was featured on DDD. Having personally appeared on an episode of DDD at a friend's restaurant, I'm a fan of DDD places. The menu was a little confusing, as it wasn't exactly clear what sides/amounts came with what items. I'm sure for locals, and those who frequent this place, it's less confusing. Staff was pretty friendly, but didn't necessarily go out of their way to explain things when asked. Food wait time was normal. The food was perfectly acceptable. I wasn't wowed. I got the jerk chicken, and the jade red chicken. My friend got the Pollo Diablo. Both the jerk and Diablo chicken were supposed to be the most spicy, but I didn't think either one was particularly spicy. The Jade Red almost had more spice. Considering the hype, I was a little let down. The food was good, but it wasn't amazing. None of the flavor profiles really stood out. After a while it all just kind of blended together. The cookies were a little old/stale. We got there right at opening. Maybe some of the stuff was leftover from the day before. Rumor is the restaurant is different than when it appeared on DDD. Allegedly, the owner divorced/remarried. One wife got the original recopies featured on DDD, and the other wife got the restaurant and name. In summary - it was good, but not amazing. I might eat there again if I flew back to the area, but I would also probably look for other featured restaurants in the area. Unlike MayMoes in Logan UT, I wouldn't fly in just for this.

Visited on a whim and it was fantastic! This place offers a wide menu selection, from rice bowls to burritos and quesadillas, allowing for customization with various bases and proteins. There’s also a free cookie that comes with your order! The generous portions, reasonable prices, and quick, friendly service made it a great experience. The spacious, clean, and vibrant atmosphere sets it apart from your typical Chipotle. If you're after a quick and satisfying meal, this spot is a must-try. I'll be returning for sure!

Food comes out fresh and fast. Have their food bowls and service. They also give out cookies or brownies ❤️. Very polite and clean.

Fast and friendly service. The machaca shredded beef was my absolute fave. The jade red chicken was a second fave. We also had the emerald chicken - it was okay, it had good flavor but prefer other 2. Love that it's family owned!

Is always such a good treat! Love how fresh everything is. We make a 30-mile drive just to treat ourselves. I love the Chile rellenos. You have to try them if you like crunchy and cheesy.

I have been going to Chino's for 25+ years. It is a super funky mix of food in a casual dining atmosphere. If you like funky try it out. They offer samples so you can try a couple things and mix it up. I always order the 8B/7Q with jerk fried rice and black beans. The jade chicken and Jen red pork are go to dishes however you get them.

I usually never have a problem when eating here but the last two times my red jade pork (in the photo) and the re jade chicken have been dry and extremely chewy and hard to eat threw and today was that today again idk what’s been going on lately but it makes it not worth the high price and I hardly come because of it

This place is one of those things you never knew should exist, but once you've tried it you question how it ever couldn't have existed. I love this place! Best food you never knew you needed in your life. We're so fortunate to be able to have this right here! It's not just a good idea. It's also great food and great people!

I’ve loved Chino since the late 90’s. The guy at the counter today was cheerful but I didn’t get his name. The jerk chicken was what first hooked me. I honestly like everything on the menu I just prefer some things to others. I recommend a jade red chicken quesadilla with plum sauce. The egg foo young and the chili relleno are both different from anywhere else and both great. Have you ever tried a veggie quesadilla? I can’t write enough here so I’m just going to stop. One more thing -a free cookie?!!! Seriously how is Chino Bandido not more popular?

Added to my list after seeing on DDD. Was good but not great, had the Jade Red Chicken with Jerk Fried Rice. Chicken was similar to what most places call orange chicken but slightly different flavor is was good. Jerk Fried Rice was also good, will be back since it's close to work.

Great food! There is a variety of bowls which can have either an Asian or Mexican influence. The staff has reduced the in line time process by providing a menu with pictures and descriptions before you get to the cashier. It's relative priced and the portions are huge. The staff are very efficient and nice! We go here for work lunches often and always have a great time.

This neighborhood gem has been featured by Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives multiple times. The combination of Mexican and Asian cuisine is incredibly delicious. We loved the free cookie that is served with every meal. Delicious! We will be back soon.

We’ve been going to Chino’s for many years. Food is still pretty good but seems to have slipped in quality some. We are not that crazy about their new location. It is way too noisy for dining in the restaurant and the line is always in the way of maneuvering around the place. Talked to many friends and they like the prior location a lot more.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The crossover is a perfect blend of flavor and quirkiness. The first time there the menu and ordering may be a little overwhelming, but once you understand their system you will be a pro in no time. Personally I love a combo with jerk fried rice, an Emerald chicken quesadilla and Jen Red Pork. A slight secret is to get a side of sour cream to add to your beans. Of course finishing off with a snicker doodle cookie is the best if you have room.

Bringing back the original Chino's experience! I went today and for the the first time in ages the portion sizes were back to what I remember from my high school years in the 2000s. After being underwhelmed for over a decade I was so happy to eat my combo plate. The only downside...cookie wasn't soft. Bit too crunchy for the Chino standard.
