Best breakfast ever! I've tried many different breakfast places across the country, but this place beats them all. It makes you feel welcomed the moment you step in. Very clean, very cozy. Friendly staff. I ordered strawberry crepes(you have to ask for them, they are not on the menu), and they came out absolutely amazing. Not many places serve those and I was happy to find them here. Crepes came with a side, and I ordered hushbrowns with ham, cheese, mushrooms and grilled onions. It was perfect. You can tell they cook theirs from scratch. Probably had to shred the potatoes too. Amazing food! My husband's meal was more than he could eat. Every food was cooked absolutely perfect. And I mean it! It was perfect. Flavors were full. Not too much seasoning so you can actually taste the food itself. Steak, shrimp, cabbage, all was great. Sweet potato fries come without the sugar on them- which was a big deal for us. I absolutely recommend. If I could leave 10 ☆ I would.

Very pleasantly surprised! I may up to 5 stars after a second visit. This was our first time here. Very clean cozy decor reminiscent of many late 90's businesses. Obvious US Navy homage that, as a vet, made me wish I had time to meet the owners. The breakfast was very good without being over the top. I dislike comparing, but probably on a similar level to Cracker Barrel. My wife and I enjoyed the relaxing quiet atmosphere.

I was kinda skeptical about coming after reading some of the reviews and after realizing they are not connected with IHOP. But Please Let me tell y’all My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. I am so glad we made this trip. Carla was awesome. Hats of to chef and other staff. I did not see any of the negativity mentioned in the other comments. Please come Judge for yourself. This is a really warm atmosphere and I loved it. I will come again from Kosciusko Jackie Yowk

So, good! Old school local restaurant with really good breakfast. Omelette was HUGE. Smoked sausage was perfectly cooked - you don't see this a lot on menus anymore. Polite, attentive servers.

I understand that the staff was short handed, it was quite busy. I had a T bone and over easy for fathers day on June 19th 2022. It was cooked the way I wanted it. It was an average steak. Nothing special. No seasoning at all. There were no cups/glasses available at the time of our order being taken and we had to wait for someone to run the dishwasher. When our food was served, we didn't get any silverware. There wasn't any. That as well needed to be run thru the dish water and then put into a serving bag for us. So we had to wait on that as well. My wife wanted a vegetarian omelet, (let me tell you that I am a licensed chef along with 20 years in the military as a cook), her hash browns were burnt. Her eggs were extremely unpresentable. It looked like the cook tried to make an omelet and failed. It was served to my wife in a lump on her plate Needless to say, she couldn't eat it. The owner ( a male said that's an open face omelet. I could have made that omelet literally blindfolded. It looked so nasty. My wife couldn't eat it. Her stomach had turned at the site of whatever that was that they served up to her. The owner made no attempts to correct the situation or even try to make it right. They should have removed it from the bill. They did not. He just kept making excuses. Let me also say that in the next room someone wasnt very happy. There was cussing and they stormed out of the place. Upon paying the bill, we still left a tip. It should be zero stars to the House of Pancakes that day. No way will my wife ever eat there again.

Pancakes were the best. My steak was medium but it turned out a little more medium well. Next time I would order it medium rare
