Ecowas African Restaurant - Philadelphia - Photo album

Nice & quaint establishment I always enjoy my platters Good service & I believe they deserve at least 1 more star then the 3 there given ****...
If you’ve never had African food before you’ll probably enjoy this place. If you have, just skip it. It’s not bad but since it’s in an area with lots of African restaurants it doesn’t hold up to the competition in the area. Emma’s is a few blocks away and sooo much better. We tried the palava sauce
I ordered fried plantains with beef kebab and egusi with fufu and I love it.
Super friendly service and amazing tasting food
Their fish & plantains is pretty good. I was introduced to the meal by a friend and I have gotten hooked. The only thing is the price changes if you get the same thing one week versus another. It's a bit pricey, but there's probably a good reason for it. Overall, the meal is good with caramelized on
"Really bad service, pretty expensive for what they offer."
Honestly I wasn't expecting much after seeing how the place was looking trashed i would have given a 5star only if it was kept too standard but i must say i enjoy the food
slow and poor services! and the staff are so lazy!
