Cafe Urba

I love cafe Urba!!! Their coffee is great and so is the service! They have many fantastic options and each drink comes with a cute little free mento. It's always clean when I come in and the atmosphere is warm and happy. There is one worker who I feel has a quite negative attitude but I feel that this comes from being treated poorly by the manager from what I witnessed, this just leads to discomfort in going here.

I ordered via a new app (Ritual) which may or may not have determined why my order was what it was but if you are looking to get customer loyalty with this first experience- you’ve lost me for life. Putting one thin slice of corned beef on a sandwich does not a corned beef sandwich make. This location will never be referred by me. Not worth the dime or your time.

The food is sooo good! The owner and his team cares about his customers. Providing fresh food. Some of the prices were questionable. However, the avocado and chicken wrap that a friend and I ate was WELL WORTH the price. I almost bought one to take home. I remember him from when he was in Suburban Square building. Glad to see him bouncing back!!

I’m not sure if every ritual customer has the same experience but this has happened to me twice now. Picked up the “panini” 2 minutes after the order was ready. It is stone cold, missing key ingredients — mozzarella cheese and avocado and looks completely unappetizing. I am hungry though so thought I’d bite into it and see if it tastes better than it looks. That was a mistake — it tastes just as gross at it looks, cannot taste anything besides gollops of pesto. 2 times is too many for this to happen. Too bad I wasted $$ and missed lunch too.

I have been traveling and working in Philly 7 months (used to NYC). All this time I have been very disappointed with my lunch options. My office is connected to Suburban station - I thought getting a great sandwich would be easy - definitively not so UNTIL I found URBA. The atmosphere, service and food as good as NYC (finally).
