George's Pizza

Mr. George and staff are a great team. They really work hard in multitasking and service. The food is tasty an very reasonably priced. YES, with any establishment you get (Quirks) but George is willing to compensate a refund. Also Staff's willingness to remake.... This all whether dining IN/OUT is a quality experience. ☺️ Thank you.

I have cheesesteak envy!! @diningonadime posted a picture of a George’s cheesesteak and their’s was much bigger than mine!! At $8 in Philly I am not going to complain (much). 2 of my favorite things that don’t necessarily need to go together, corropolese roll and a toasted roll. Corropolese rolls stand on their own but it is George’s pizza and not Jim’s. Very good roll, with or without the toasting. The meat had a good flavor. Very good amount of cheese and the cheese was melted very nicely. Overall, The cheesesteak needed more of everything but if you are in the city and only have $8 in your pocket, have I got a (good) cheesesteak for you!!

I just got home from a long drive and was craving some cheesy baked dough to stuff in my face. I looked around and all I could find was a couple of expensive places and George's. I looked at some reviews and I came away feeling a bit dubious about this shop but decided that a cheap pizza is still better than having to sell my car to afford a slice at another nearby shop. I gave George a call. I was wrong to feel dubious! This pizza was delicious, it was crispy, it was hot, it was cheesy, it was everything anyone should want in a pizza. And what's better? It was ready in 15 minutes and only cost 10 bucks!
