Marine Corps birthday is always a great and safe event. Reasonable drink prices. Parking is hit or miss.
The mexican food is phenomenal. A beautiful clean laid back bar atmosphere. Great people that support great causes such as the Michael Strange foundation. 👍👍👍

Marines come to this hallowed location every year to celebrate the birthday of the Marine Corps. Bag pipes, food, beer, friends, brothers, mentors, leaders, and family. This is the location to visit if you are a Marine. If you have not been here you will never know what it is like to share a bro
Love to come here and hang with my friends. Cheap drinks, they are open ass-early in the morning and they have a jukebox you can pick songs with your phone. Super bonus is they recently went non-smoking! What's bad about that is you still get these folks who can't let go and they'll go in the bathro
Been there several times for the Marine Corps Birthday Block Party they have in honor of our (Marines) day, it's awesome and I plan on being there this year (2015)..Marine Corps started in Tun's Tavern way back in 1775 in Philly, so let's keep the tavern birthday party tradition going...OOOOH-RAAAAH

This used to cookies now it's something completely different. The place is nice and the bartender was good but it's not the same they took down all the pictures and the USMC memorable

A South Philly institution. Hosts Marine Corps birthday every November. Used to allow smoking but I believe they stopped.
My friend and I are here now and they have a really nice menue and drinks are really great.😍😎
