Franklin's East Falls

We’ve been going for years so this spot has become like a staple for us. We started going back in like 2017/2018 i think maybe even before. I know we went to events hosted by @whatwedoevents a few times and we just kept going back. The staff, the food, the vibes you can never go wrong. I love the football specials. As with any restaurant/bar prices have gone up but still great value for what you get. My fave nights here are football and karaoke. You will be guaranteed a good time. It can get crowded but if you’re a normal person with common sense just give the servers some Grace. I’ve never had any issues with anything or any staff member. Our service has always been A1 but we also treat people with respect and have patience. Don’t go in there with no foolishness they don’t play that. Security on standby. It’s a wholesome place and i think they do a great job keeping up the place and offering different events and entertainment.

The dark skinned, vibrant female bartender ran the show, did her thing, and didn't even break a sweat. Hostess, server, runner, and bartender. You would think it was her place! (Maybe it was?) The food was pretty excellent for a semi-neighborhood night spot. If (Since) there's a ton of big mamas dressed to kill, the food's gotta slay.

This place is « just what America needs » Easy vibes, friendly and all luv. The Karoke night is a blast ! The servers are friendly, but there’s not enough of them to go around and the wait for service on busy nights is long…but there’s plenty of good vibes and good folk to keep you entertained while waiting.

I was looking for a place to have a funeral lunch in the East Falls/Roxborough area. Since I attend Quizzo every Wednesday night, run by the wonderful Billy Gardner, I decided on Franklin's. I am so glad I did. All of my guests raved about the chicken parm and roast beef. I have to say that it was the best roast beef sandwich that I have eaten in years. The back bar room had plenty of seating for my guests and everything was set up when we arrived. I had a "consumption bar" and Stephen Starrett was our bartender. He was quick with the drinks and delivered them with a friendly smile. Tracy (the manager) couldn't do enough for us. Constantly putting out the food, cleaning up and always asking me me she could help me in any way. Plus the added bonus of a parking lot! Thank you all so much for making a stressful day bearable. If you need to have a private party Franklin's is your place!

Great time on Friday Kareoke Night. Nice crowd, plenty of space and seating, they had a live DJ that came around 9 and the food was great. I especially enjoyed the cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak rolls. Great for large groups too. During Thanksgiving weekend, we had our annual cousin night out here. Will be returning again this Saturday for a private party. Definitely recommend.
