Franco's Restaurant - Philadelphia - Photo album

A gem of an Italian BYOB restaurant set in the midst of historic East Falls - Fiorino was on my bucket list. Settling into appetisers ( Portobello Mushrooms) which had just the right bite to it, followed by the Argula salad and then the gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce / Rigatoni Amatriciana / and a home
The appetizers were fresh & tasty. My eggplant rollettes were salty with little eggplant taste and the sauce was mostly parm, not tomatoes. The lamb my friends ordered was divine. I will return to sample more of the menu. Thank you.
Hole in the wall authentic Italian restaurant. A real gem. The ingredients are super fresh and the food is delicious. They have gluten free pasta too! Highly recommended for a family dinner, date night, or a cozy place to catch up with friends.
Fantastically delicious food and excellent service. My water glass never went below half filled and they kept the bread coming! Needed to soak up every last bit of the meal. Wasn't over filled though, everything was perfectly portioned and super fresh. Their outside seating is expanded to across
Small intimate place with exceptional food. BYOB with no corking fee. Call to make a reservation! They book up very quickly, there is less than 10 tables in the restaurant. Also, get dessert, it will be the best dessert you’ve ever had. 10/10
Update June 2023: Food is still outstanding. Service has declined. Update July 2021: still absolutely outstanding. They now have a larger outside area under an awning. Like a brief trip to Italy. Outstanding! Everything was perfect: antipasti, main courses, and deserts. The gnocchi are like little
Fiorino is becoming our Friday night go-to. My wife and I are both gluten-free and they have several options on the menu. Last night we had the grilled calamari to start. I had the GF pasta with white clam sauce - absolutely fantastic. The staff is knowledgeable and personable with both indoor and o
Highly recommend! We love this place and continue to frequent the restaurant via take out. The complimentary mini cannoli and appetizers (tomato based dipping sauce & bruschetta). Once we can eat out in person, we will definitely eat here... the hospitality is amazing and the food is even better
Tiny and unassuming, but there is not much to say that this is some of the best Italian food I've had outside Italy. Simple preparations, the warmth of home in the service and desserts that are a perfect ending.
My personal favorite Italian spot in Philly. The pasta is fantastic, the ingredients are fresh, the outdoor dining area is so cute in the nice weather, and the service is excellent. Plus, it's BYOB! Try the tagliatelle bolognese and spaghetti scoglio.
