Ocean Harmony

The food is top five BEST in China Town! Flavor and authenticity is spot on! Very expensive if eating alone but as a group it's great! Go with many people and have a blast. Small an clean environment, atmosphere is simple. They have fresh seafood on the premises in tanks. If u are a fan and looking for a place to get authentic Chinese this is the place or at least one of.

Pretty large menu of many items that one does not see at other Chinese restaurants. We ordered hot and sour soup that was reasonably priced and very tasty. The flavor was different than most of the other restaurants in chinatown but still pleasing. The Tofu with pork in hot pepper sauce was a bit different than the Mapo Tofu elsewhere, but none the less was quite tasty. The curry chicken was mild and slightly sweet but it was a little too heavy on the potatoes but still quite satisfying. Although this restaurant clearly appeals to the Asian community, we felt very welcome and the staff was friendly and attentive. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, "I'll be back."

Fresh, Tasty and FUN! I have a new "go-to" spot when I am craving authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price. I travel to Philadelphia often for business. This last go-round I was taken to Ocean Harmony on Race Street. First thing I noticed was just how fresh the protein dishes (especially seafood) happened to be. We ordered several dishes to share family-style. My ABSOLUTE favorite was the steamed crab over sticky rice. In fact my recollection of that dish is making my stomach growl in hunger as I type this review. The service was spot-on, non-rushed and beyond friendly. Of course the karaoke in the private room was great fun. Sure I sing like one of those steamed crabs but what the heck......it is about good food, good friends/family......and FUN! Very reasonably-priced and open fairly late as well. LOVED Ocean Harmony!
