Stopped in off the recommendation of a local doctor. Was greeted warmly by a nice lady at the counter. Grabbed a moist blueberry muffin and a fresh fruit cup- but will have me return was there delicious Cold Brew Coffee. Very nice outdoor patio area.
A great place to grab a bite to eat on base.
It was a little pricey but it was worth it.
They had to close the doors due to Covid-19, but I hope they come back. The staff was great and the food was delicious.
Went there for breakfast with my wife today, they knocked it out of the park. Great staff and food. Check this place out... but check the hours before you go.

Excellent burger #2, tomato basil soup exceptional. Only reason for 4 stars in service, was they were short handed. No one fault, trend of the times. I would recommend the place to anyone.
WOW! Everything I've had from Mercer Cafe is DELISH! So fresh and so clean clean ;) But seriously, all homemade (I have so many favorite dishes!) and great prices! The staff is super nice and the restaurant is super clean. If you haven't tried Mercer yet, you're in for a treat!!
Great service and great food. I have liked everything I have tried so far. The brick oven pizza is great, I'm hoping they expand the options to include a buffalo chicken pizza. A great little out-of-the-way place to go especially on the weekends. It's never really that crowded, they have great outdoor seating weather permitting, and the service is very attentive. There's always a good special or two. And the view driving are of all the battleships in mothballs is always a
Breakfast sandwiches are served all day and I’ve probably had about a dozen on my trips to the area. They are fantastic. The staff is great as well. Can be a little hectic at the midday peak but that’s how most places are.
Restaurant was convenient to work so tried it. Ordered a toasted Italian hoagie which turned out rather tasty. Will eat here again when in town for work again.
Went to the cafe in the Naval Yard for the first time this morning. Ordered the crab meat, asparagus and mozzarella omelet. Hands down, this had to be the greatest omelet I have ever eaten!!!! Incredible! Without a doubt, this place will be seeing me again and again!
Prompt, courteous service. This cafe is a real winner. Really fresh, hot, tasty food. The garden salad had plenty of mixed greens and additional chopped veggies. My daughter enjoyed the cheese quesadilla. The soups (we had chicken corn chowder and tomato basil) are really delicious. Prices slightly
The breakfast and coffee I had there was definitely the old diner kind in the best of ways. Fast service and good food although perhaps the menu was slightly pricey. Overall a good place for a quick bite!
Hosted a bridal shower at Mercer Cafe. Thomas was amazing to work with. He made sure the party went off without a hitch. He went above and beyond to help unpack and load up cars. The food was very tasty, no complaints at all!

Very good food specially the American cheese burger, and the quesadilla make sure you get the sour cream its amazing. They also have a good crab cake burger. A bit overpriced tho, and usually very busy.
Good food and service, but expect to be here a while. From initial service to getting your food and clearing the check - it's not a quick process here. This is a good lunch option, but only if you have a while.
