Variety of items, quality of food, cleanliness: 12 out of 10. Prices are high but that's corner stores so hey.

I was in Philly for leisure and stayed in the Fairfield across Spruce. Thinking about a long train ride home, I picked up an Italian hoagie at Jay's for the trip, and was extremely pleased with the quality! The meat, cheese, and roll were all very good. For $10 bucks, I loved it. Friendly service as well.

Jay’s has become one of my absolute go-to’s for breakfast and lunch! Gotta respect great food at a fair price, love to see it!! The bacon is always perfectly cooked, never burnt or rubbery. They don’t skimp on ingredients but the sandwiches are not overwhelmingly full/hard to eat. Rolls are delicious. Highly recommend!

A local corner deli situated near the University of the Arts, Jay's Deli is an overall standard deli with above average sandwiches. Considering many others places in the area charge well over $10 for a sandwich, Jay's is a welcome change of pace where you can get a decent size sandwich (I get the P1) for <$10. Service and checkout is quick and attentive. If you are ever in a rush or just craving a deli sandwich, this is a good spot. I do find their lunch sandwiches to be a better deal and tastier than their breakfast sandwiches.

Amazing family owned deli and convenience store. I've been coming here for years. Best sandwiches - especially love the grilled veggie, BLT, egg & cheese and corned beef special. Highly recommended.
