Went here after a doctors appointment. Originally wanted Chinese food next door but they’re not open on Mondays. Drank no alcohol just Sprite. Had a half rack of ribs and the absolute best Chili that I have ever eaten!! I must stress just how good the chili is because it was amazing. So amazing that I had to tip the cook $5. Don’t believe me? Stop by and give it a try.

Stopped in for dinner after touring Independence Hall and surrounding historic areas. Corner, neighborhood bar that serves food. Ordered two sandwiches - chicken parm and roast beef. Both were fine, but not good. Food was plentiful and served simply. Not alot of taste to either sandwich, but they were fine for what we wanted. Pricing was inexpensive at under $10 per sandwich. Service by the woman at the bar, who could not be bothered to bring anything to us. We had to go get everything except a nice man from the kitchen brought us our food.

Have to say Food in the evening is a tad better then day time cooks but it’s still fresh and cooked to order. Wasn’t expecting this place to have such an extensive food menu but it did and pleasantly surprised! Fish Sandwich; I do wish it had come with lettuce and tomato but produce is expensive, I would have paid extra but it is what it is.

What here for a quick lunch and did not disappoint. Prompt service was met with cold beer at the Locust bar. Was happy all around with my service. Only interesting fact was you can smoke inside this bar. When I think everybody is used to that not being true. Still great spot to stop by

This little dive spot has a wonderfully diverse clientele, a fun atmosphere, and great energy! Everyone is friendly, happy, and unpretentious... it's just so easy to relax and feel comfortable here. We've visited several times over the past few weeks and feel poised to become regulars. So far we've only had the Cajun dry rub wings to eat...but honestly that's enough to bring us back over and over again....they are spectacular! Looking forward to trying other things on the menu!

Can I have too many day drinking spots?? $7.75 for my cheesesteak after paying for mushrooms, lettuce and tomato. $4.25 drafts. they do allow smoking. lively chatty crowd. 3 TVs. I have very strong feelings for Locust bar.

I had the best time cheering for the Eagles Superbowl win at this place. Unfortunately they didn't but it was still a great experience. And staff was on point! The Cajun dry rub wings are amazing btw.

Arguably the best dive bar in Center City. Cold lager (Yuengling) on tap and a very eclectic group of patrons: from doctors, med students and hospital staff to your local convivial barflies. A very welcoming atmosphere always.

I haven't actually had a drink in some time, but Locust Bar, this is my favorite place to stop in and have a few. It's a great little corner bar right at 10th and Locust, very nice place, the atmosphere makes me feel very welcome. Had a lot of good times here. They have a kitchen, you can call in and order good food and have it waiting for you when you get there.

Since I've been working at the Forrest Theatre 🎭, I needed a place to get a drink 🍻 and a grub. So glad I found you, I know I'm late to this. Great atmosphere (all walks of life) but what really draws me to this bar is the menu. The food is fresh and well prepared, I can tell that their employees take pride in their work. Keep it up!
