Sky Cafe - Philadelphia - Photo album

Might be the first time I've gotten bad service here. The server seemed to be more interested in his friends being there than the restaurant. Pasted over our table for other tables sat after us 2x. Didn't even look our way which is strange since we come often and have seen him before.
Authentic Indonesian foods. It’s a quick bite type of restaurant, fast service, casual atmosphere, affordable, and full of flavors. I’m a huge fan of their assortment of little bites with rice. R2 and R16 are my absolute favorites. Pro tips: ask for the spicy sambal on the side. You won’t regret it.
I have visited Sky Cafe twice. This hidden gem is well worth a visit. Very good Indonesian food with amazing flavor and a lovely use of peanut. For starters, we tried the Batagor and Gado, Gado. Both very delicious. For the main, I had the Kari Bihun, both times. If you love a warm, spicy soup
The service is friendly & attentive, the food is masterfully prepared, and the prices are shockingly affordable. In a city that offers a seemingly endless variety of delicious food, Sky Cafe stands out as one of the very best my husband and I had the pleasure to try so far. Our recent meal here was
Nice restaurant in the Philly area. The space is small and can fit about 6-7 tables at the best. The food was great and tasted very nice. The curry in a banana leaf was very nice and fragrant however, there was literally just one piece of jackfruit in it, I would have expected at least 2-3 pieces gi
Delicious Indonesian food in Philadelphia! Stopped by here for dinner (dined in) and ordered the Sky’s Pork Rice Platter (Nasi Campur Medan). The bbq pork was tender and it came with sweet egg and sambal goreng ati which was great. We also had Pempek goreng and it was also delicious and tasty. Overa
Came here multiple times, service was satisfactory, food is average, the portion sizes have noticeably decreased compared to previous experiences, and to top it off, the prices have gone up. Finding parking here during the weekends has become a real treasure hunt since it's nestled inside a busy pla
A hidden gem! Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the variety of their menu and so did my friends. First time trying Indonesian food; I learned that it is customary for the food to be served room temperature — asides from soup and other dishes. Nevertheless, still delicious! Pricing is great fo
There was a wait for seating but it's worth it. The food, the price, and the atmosphere. The chicken satay was bit salty and the curry noodle soup (N12) was not as spicy as the it could have been. Service could have been a bit more attentive but overall the food is delicious. Would definitely go bac
The best indo resto in town.. slurpss
I've been here twice and the food and service never fails. It's clean and they actually caught me and my friends by suprise with one of their drinks ! My bf and friend wanted to order an avocado smoothie and the kind waiter asked if they wanted it with chocolate or coffee LOL all of our faces turned
This is one of my favorite Indonesian restaurant. It is also one of the cleanest and nicest ones in Philly. The food is tasty, menu is decent. If this is your first time trying Indonesian or just trying the spot, order the Nasi Padang. It’s varieties of dishes in small servings but good enough for
Fantastic food here- service is very good. Give this place a try if you haven’t had Indonesian food before! My favorite was the coconut chicken soup- it’s so so good.
We ordered nasi padang, nasi campur and chicken & pork sate, all of it were absolutely delicious! Keep on a good work, guys! We’ll definitely be back to taste another authentic Indonesian food!
Love love love this restaurant. My favorite place to eat in Philly. I always get the spicy fish rice platter but they have great options across the board. The takeaway in banana leaves is also great! Highly recommend for a great sit down meal that's affordable.
One of authentic Indonesian restaurant in Philadelphia. We came on a Saturday afternoon, they were busy. We got sat down right away despite Outdoor dining table was full, as well as inside. They made a table available for us. Food came out a bit slow because they’re busy but the taste was sooo good.
Loved this hidden gem. We ordered lamb satay, Mie Komplit, and coconut rice. The homemade egg noodles are amazing and coconut fried rice was perfection (slightly salty with layers of other flavors - it doesn’t look or sound as good as it is). Will be back!
This is my favorite restaurant in Philly! The food is absolutely delicious! It's affordable, the service is great, and the food comes out pretty fast and always sends my taste buds to heaven!
A little bit confused to find out because the entrance is not faced in front of parking and road. The entrance is inside WING PHAT MALL. You can have authentic Indonesian cusines. Especially you can eat various kind on one plate and I recommend deserts. Very delicious.
