WHY CAN'T I GET MY BACON SOFT?. I only occasionally eat breakfast here. As of June 2014 I find a place newly remodeled. Food tasty. Service friendly and quick. Had a tremendous 12 which consists of 3 eggs 4 pancakes 4 bacon and potatoes. Early breakfast special price usually closer to nine dollars without coffee was $6.19. And for the first time coffee was included at this price a welcome change. My only negative comment about this place is that I myself like my bacon extremely soft. A concept that is hard pressed to be found almost everywhere I go. The waitress informed me that the bacon is precooked earlier in the morning and that usually it's about medium or better when served. When I again asked if I could get the bacon extremely soft the waitress disappeared and the manager appeared. He informed me that he would be happy to cook my bacon to the consistency that I requested however on this particular day the bacon deliveryman had not yet arrived something I found a little hard to believe. Nevertheless he said he would present me with the bacon that they had and if I didn't want it then I could opt to have sausage in its place. My problem is I don't want sausage I want soft bacon! The meal arrived at the table with the bacon past the medium stage. I ate the bacon the way it was however the manager arrived about two thirds the way through the meal and asked me how was everything was and if I was happy and my reply was no. The manager then did what he should have he offered to remove the cost of my meal rom the bill however I told him I didn't want him to do that and that I didn't come in for a free meal I came in for breakfast with soft bacon. My wife and I finished our meals and went to pay the check. The cashier that took our money asked how my new was and I told her that I wasn't happy and that I previously spoken to the manager and that he offered to take the cost of the meal away but I declined. At that point she asked me would I at least take a muffin in consolation. Again a nice gesture they really try hard there. I myself didn't want one but I asked my wife if she would like one and she chose an orange cranberry one and later in the day was very happy with the choice.

The good was great, and the staff was awesome and lots of friendly people eating in there who would just talk to you and that was really nice. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you!

While our server Angela was attentive and polite, and we normally love coming here, our pancakes was thin, and tasted funny. I couldn’t even finish them. We frequent here often so we have had more good times than bad so I won’t leave a negative review but today’s visit gives me pause. I guess everyone has to have an off day and today was definitely it. Hopefully next time will be back to normal.

Angela was a great server. We were in a bit of a hurry and she worked around us and got our food and our bill very quickly. We appreciated it! And although Charles didn’t help us, he helped the people next to us who had a handicapped person with them. It was so nice to see that the staff was so helpful and would go out of their way to accommodate all their customers.

I went here the other day with my mom as a little pick me up for the both of us (we've had a little bit of family drama recently and wanted to grab a meal together). Our waitress was Ashley, and she was lovely from the start. Very attentive and professional. As the meal went on and my mom and I were chatting, my mom got a bit emotional just before Ashley was checking up. As Ashley got to us, she was so incredibly kind and compassionate when chatting with my mom and went above and beyond to make sure that the remainder of the meal went well and we felt very at ease. We've loved Perkins for a throwback brunchy spot from when I was young but the care that Ashley took with us was just so meaningful this time.

I take my son here at least once a week. He loves the waffle and I LOVE the pancakes. This is thee only place I go for pancakes. Nothing tastes better. Service always friendly. Always fast.
