New Wave Cafe - Philadelphia - Photo album

We’ve been coming here for over a decade. Great community feel. Good variety in the menu. Recently had the buffalo chicken cheesesteak which was next level. And my kid loves the mac and cheese. Texas burger is also a great classic.
We got the nachos, Brussel sprouts, short rib grilled cheese and salmon salads. Salmon was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. Grilled cheese was delicious. I would have preferred the Brussel sprouts were crispy personally. Food was hot, however, and served in a timely manner. Service was good. W
New Wave is a terrific neighborhood bar and grill. Full bar with a tremendous selection of beers on tap, and a great menu of items from salads to pizzas to sandwiches to full entrees, all of which is clearly a cut above “bar food”. Even though I’m not from the neighborhood, I have yet to meet a
The food was real good and I like how they change things up. New items to try along with their classics. Nachos with steak, lamb tacos and pulled pork sliders.
7/17/20 My partner came her around 5PM on a Friday. There was outdoor seating available. The owner "Sam" immediately offered my service animal a piece of jerky and they accommodated him. We thank you for that. Sam is a very amusing, and friendly man and got my partner and I to laugh and feel comfor
Can’t recommend this place enough. Really great draft list, lots of bottles and cans available, TVs everywhere and cool art on the walls. Dogs are allowed outside at the tables and they bring you treats :) The cheesesteak was soooo good I can’t wait to try other food. Energy here on game day is unr
Great neighborhood place, that I've been going to for years. Had a great NA beer and the crab cake sandwich was delicious.
Food was good, but not life altering. Basically good bar food. Service was good. We sat outside but the music being played inside was definitely a nostalgic trip. It was fun to hear.
Had a great meal here last night, the veggie burger was awesome, and my friend loved whatever meaty dish he chose. Friendly service too, really glad we stopped by.
Great food and great service! Enjoy an inexpensive, $7 weekday (M-F) special, something different everyday! Cheese Steak Spring rolls from here, are the best.
Amazing place!!! Best food I’ve had in Philly! Beers at a great price too. Love the 80s sports bar kinda vibes. Great neighborhood eats and drinks!
Accidentally walked into a well-loved local joint one afternoon. What a great accident, though! Really nice beer list, comprehensive whiskey selection, and very friendly bartenders and patrons. Oh, and all the autographed magazine covers are cool as heck. Any time I'm in Philly, I will not not spend
Great and unique food for a good price, nice brunch menu, cool beer selection, and chill atmosphere make this my favorite spot in the Queen Village area. The outside tables are great when you have a dog with you or it's just nice enough outside. The bartenders are good to great and most servers are
Staff is 5 stars. During pandemic the business was incredible. Prices and portions amazing. I can't believe how they kept up.a.great menu with so many challenges in the kitchen as I see it. They do.a great job and are a staple of.the community.
