We had a to-go order.
I did give a 4-star because they missed 1 order of falafel to give us.
We definitely need a mask for entering the restaurant.
When we visited, the store was not busy.
Even to pick up the order, parking is not easy.
Coming to our order, we ordered Manhattan Sandwich and falafel sandwich. We really liked the taste of sandwiches.
Their sauces are quite nice. They gave a small amount of red sauce which is EXTREMELY spicy. Those who love spice can have this.
Will visit them again soon.
Generous portions and delicious food without breaking the bank. It was my first time dining here and I was not disappointed. I thought it was Lebanese food, and one of the chefs told me that it’s Syrian food. While there are many similarities, the nuances made the difference for me. The falafel was some of the best falafel I have ever had in my life, and I even went back and ordered more.
Don’t be afraid to ask the staff questions about the menu or what they’d recommend. I tried the Macdougal with shawarma, falafel, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and tahineh sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the tenderness and how flavorful the meat was! The falafel is also very different from other places—not like round balls but kind of like flatter discs.
A gourmet style takeaway store on Market. Short lines and quick service. Can recommend it the East Village Signature Sandwich; delicious, made with fresh ingredients and prepared fresh. Lots of choice on menu too. Sweet options in the cabinet.
The falafel sandwich was delicious and filling. The baklava was good. The service was quick and friendly.
We'd been here once with a friend for indoor dining, but more recently came to get some takeout. All the food we ordered was tasty, and they're good with marking the menu with what's gluten-free. The mint lemonade was very refreshing as well!
