Okay! I'm on my Pizza Hunting and reviews that will be in a few articles in the new year. So, I just left Montesini pizza in a small strip mall, and the pizza was just mmm okay! I figured, need another slice or two! So, I walked about a block to Tonys Famous Tomato Pies on Frankford Avenue in Mayfa
Been coming here since I was a kid, best tomato pie. Corner bar vibe in a good location. They just removed a bunch of old booths so you get some extra room and they added a digital jukebox. It's on the up and up I'd say. Check it out. Pretty good bar wings too.
Tasty local place with pizza, wings, sides and beverages. Parking is tricky. Family establishment in a bar atmosphere. Lookout for their GroupOn, it's a great deal!
Ordered the provolone and tomatoes pie and was good. The wings that we ordered we're not fully cooked. This was our first time here as our neighbors recommend the tomatoe pies. I would return again. The owner was very friendly and the prices are reasonable 👍
Our go to place for the past 30+ years for good tomato pie! Nice thin, crispy crust...delicious sauce...very unique!

Old school dive bar appeal. TVs everywhere which is a plus. Service was great, pizza was even better. Order it "Country Style" with hot peppers.
Great Pizza bar that's been around along time in Mayfair for a reason. They serve spectacular bar food like the wings & onion rings and of course pizza . Yummy!! We had a fun time enjoying our food and my 58th birthday cake from Stocks when a quizzo game broke out . awesome time
Hands down some of the best pizza in Philly. Great pies with lots of flavor. The thin crust is awesome and really makes the pie. We tried it with a Groupon but we will be going back permanently after 2 times of eating here. No take out which stinks because some days I don’t want to sit in and tip a
A very special place, been a long time since I was there but I hope to go back again. Was looking forward to having a pizza with sausage but they accidentally gave me the wrong one but it's ok.. the people there were really nice to me, some I haven't seen in ages.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is because I'd like to be able to get it as fast and inexpensive as I have been. But I feel bad for those of you who have not had this pizza. Be warned, it'll haunt your dreams and nothing else will satisfy the craving.

Fantastic tomato pie. This is a go-to for inexpensive, quick dinner. Great prices and wonderful specials (they're also often on Groupon if you want to give it a try). The place is definitely a neighborhood bar/hole in the wall, which adds to the charm. Parking has never been an issue in the area.
