La Nonna - Philadelphia - Photo album

Very nice Italian style restaurant in Philadelphia. I realized a little too late that like more restaurants in Philadelphia it's a BYOB restaurant so we quickly went to a store close by to buy some white and red wine. Also, pay in cash or with Venmo only, no cards. We ate here with a group of 9 peop
I think everything was great in my own experience. The pasta and food came out fairly quick. The pasta was cooked to perfection, not too chewy or soft. The bills for 5 people was around 160 including tips which is not bad at all. We got the mussels appetizer, it has a clean taste, pretty light appet
It's places like La Nonna that make me feel like I'm living in a dream and make me fall in love with Philly all over again. I can't believe we live within walking distance. We had almost a private seating tonight. The homemade antipasti - bread and pickled veggie starter, homemade pasta, and des
Really enjoyed my dinner here! Thought the restaurant week options were excellent. Loved the burrata and mussels! The gnocchi with blush sauce was a nice portion and very fresh. The tiramisu dessert was delicious. Great food, great prices in a lovely atmosphere & BYOB
Tiramisu and gnocchi were both amazing! I also enjoyed the Caesar salad. It’s super fun to be able to BYOB in Philadelphia, we picked a special founding fathers themed wine to bring, it was a nice time.
Incredible. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Food was amazing and authentic, service was excellent. Will be coming back.

Certainly a hidden gem. Food was delicious. My fiancé had the chicken parm which was great and I had the fettucine bolognese, so far the best I’ve had. The service is incredible, very informative of their ingredients and they make sure to take care of all your needs. Overall, I recommend the restaur
Came here for a work Christmas party. The restaurant it very quaint and cozy, and all of the food they served was absolutely delicious. I was especially a fan of the gnocchi which is not a typical order for me. Planning another visit asap!
Took a walk on a nice Sunday evening looking for a place to stop and eat with no particular destination in mind. Wound up on South Street, and found "La Nonna's" (214 South), and decided to give it a shot. Had never been. My girlfriend and I started with the fried calamari, which was done correctly.
