I went at happy hour. The beer was a reduced price. I got a burger with bacon (I requested no cheese, but it came with it anyway), it was amazing. I'm going back for a burger, beer will be secondary next time. Burger is great!

Came in alone for a drink and food and there’s nothing better than when the bartender is friendly and helpful. Thank you Jonn for making me feel comfortable and welcome! The burger and beer was really great too!

Great service and excellent place for a drink, but sadly wasn't very impressed with the food. I see that other people seem to love it so maybe we just caught them on a bad night or ordered things that weren't to our taste.

Watkins is what comes to mind when you picture a neighborhood bar. Very cordial staff and a solid food menu.

They have a cool menu that includes a must try scotch egg and I’d say a better burger than fountain porter. The pool table an cig dispenser upstairs *chef kiss* also darth Vader is mounted on the wall… can’t make it up

Fantastic corner bar with the best fries this side of Broad Street. And stop by in the winter for the warm mulled cider. It’s the best.

Been going here for about two years. Delightful neighborhood bar with great prices, friendly staff, good food with a rotating menu (always try the grilled cheese special), and a great tavern vibe. Pool upstairs (if you’re lucky enough to get there first). I’ve since moved out of the neighborhood to Point Breeze, but my friends and I still make the hike over to Watkins at least once a week because that’s how much we love this place. This is the stuff!

Went on the spur of the moment. Met Michael, the bartender, who makes really good drinks. Katie, the server, who was ever so attentive and nice and Alan, the cook, who made our delicious food. Our drinks were really good. We had the pork wings, which really was a pork shank. It was a little difficult to eat, but the sauce was amazing. Our burgers were cooked to perfection, which always means a lot to me. Their kitchen serves until 1:00 am, which is good to know. Looking forward to a return visit.
