Al Zaytouna - Philadelphia - Photo album

I order delivery occasionally (always the same thing-- chicken kebob salad and hummus) and the food is always so fresh. You can tell the lettuce is chopped fresh (and not from a bag) and the grilled chicken on the salad is still warm when it arrives. The hummus is so creamy, my favorite in the city
Not a big reviewer but needed to make sure that the outstanding customer service is highlighted! There was a mixup in our delivery order and even though Al Zaytouna was out a driver, they still personally hand delivered our dinner only moments later to “make it right”. Not only is this the creamiest
The grape leaves are the best hands down I have ever tried! Great ambiance, roomy and comfortable. I regret not ordering more food!
First time at this place. At first thought, I was thinking this place is small but when I walked in, it is small but nice. The restaurant is very clean. They have music playing in the background. Nice setting. Ordered the chicken kabob platter. It wasn't what I had in mind. The kabob is not on a sti
The food was absolutely amazing. I went There twice in 1 month and it never disappoints. I get The beef kabob entree every time. This time I got Baba ghanoush and it was so tasty. Def going to go here regularly. Me and 2 friends ate and the food was so fresh I couldnt Believe we got full for less t
Best hummus I had in a long time. Meat was delicious and very friendly people.
I am so glad we found this place! Excellent food!
We stopped at this restaurant in the Italian Market at 9th and Christian. We ordered a lunch of a variety of appetizers. Everything was freshly made and delicious. An excellent restaurant for Mediterranean food We are looking forward to returning for a complete dinner. It is a BYOB, which also m
Al Zaytouna prepares exceptional Tunisian food. Their sandwhiches and entrees are fresh, with real vegetables ( not the ho hum kind), and authentic flavors. Their cous cous entrees remind me of meals from my childhood. The owner and his wife are warm and welcoming; this restaurant stayed open throug
Nice and fresh chicken and the hummus was excellent.
Ordered delivery and every single item (I ordered A LOT!) was absolutely delicious! This is my new favorite place. The hummus is amazing, the chicken shawarma was soooo good, the salad was so perfect with giant chunks of some of the best feta I've had, the chicken platter was fantastic, the baklava.
Once a week I work in the area and I LOVE the place. Sometimes I dine in, sometimes I order for pick up. The food is GREAT! The flavor is wonderful and the amount of food is perfect (at least for me that love to eat). People very kind and gentle. I HIGHLY recommend this place.
I'm the only one in my family who doesn't eat beef. After standing the longest line ever to get them cheesesteaks from another place up the street, I was so happy to stumble upon Al Zaytouna. I had the falafel sandwich with no onions. It was so good! The ingredients were fresh. The falafel was l
Can't really say anything bad about this place. We order takeout from here often, for a well balanced, healthy meal. The mixed kabob platter is one of my favorite, healthy things to eat. Their hummus is divine and so is their baklava!
Spot on place for Eastern Mediterranean dishes! Casual dining with superb service. I highly recommend!
Excellent food and prices. Their online ordering is weird, so I normally just call it in. The grape leaves and humus are perfect. The have gotten my order wrong twice out of like 50 times. May be worth checking. The owner will remember you if you go often enough and has been known to give free te
Came here with my parents. Food was outstanding; my mom and I got the Chicken Delight, and my dad the tilapia salad. All the food was extremely well cooked. My mom got the side of roasted veggies, which she said were the best she's ever had. The only slight downside was the slowness of service (we w
