Bitar's - Philadelphia - Photo album

Bitar's is one of my favorite places for takeout in Philly and my go-to for really delicious falafel, hummus and stuffed grape leaves. The owners are really friendly and take pride in their business.
Delicious food in a simple authentic atmosphere. Scrumptious salads and babaghanuj.
BEST Mediterranean place in Philly! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is absolutely wonderful and sweet. The rice combo with chicken is a daily order for me. Everything on their menu is mouthwatering. The price is very fair for the high quality food you receive. Do NOT sleep on this delic
Delicious gyro and baklava. Super friendly people and great prices. When we are back in the area will be sure to come back
Best gyro meat I've had in Philly so far. Everything tasted great and fresh. Fair prices too. Would recommend this place for sure
My reviews are based on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Where 1 star = tragic and 5 star = Owwwwww Popping Here you can grab food to go, sit and eat in the low key communal dining table, alone, with your child, or a friend for a quick self service bite. Shop for quick Arab grocery goods, like Ayran (my fa
Wonderful place! I got the vegetarian falafel with a side of hommus and it was perfect! The atmosphere is relaxed and nicely decorated with a great selection of condiments and other items you can purchase. The owners were warm and friendly and I will definitely return!
I was in the neighborhood for an errand and was craving a falafel wrap- this hit the spot! Hummus was super tasty and I liked that the falafel was grilled, not too oily. The pickled radishes were also a nice touch.
One of our go to take our places. Super friendly staff and great food! I've also stocked up on feta, olives, stuffed grape leaves and pita for at home greek salads
Fantastic pita sandwiches. Definitely try the "special sandwich" with fries inside. So good. They also have delicious baklava and other small desserts, and the best hummus and pita for takeout. Definitely worth a stop.
Their pastries are amazing!! Came here for a falafel sandwich and got a pistachio baklava as well, very happy I did. Want to come back and try some of their other dishes, chicken was recommended and the hummus looked good.
Google says it's closed but it's very open and delicious as always!
Delicious food and quick service! Two of us shared the grilled chicken platter and 4 falafel, and we couldn't finish it all. They also stock Lebanese food products which look very good.
I eat Bitar's for lunch at least once a week because it's so reliable and delicious. The Chicken Kabob Platter is perfect every single time I order it. The chicken and vegetables are so flavorful and are brought to the next level with the side of warm pita. Highly recommend.
Ordered take out from here tonight We ordered the Greek gyro salad, falafel, grape leaves, a bitzza and a kofta platter. Every single thing was delicious, and this place immediately has become one of my top 5 places to order from in the city. Friendly staff and savory baklava. 10/10 would recommend
I've been coming back for years for their selection of some favorite Mediterranean ingredients that are either hard to find or overpriced elsewhere. Unfortunately it seems they've reduced the grocery side of the shop a bit, but they still seem to have all of my favorites and the occasional new thing
Hands down one of my favorite places in Philly. If you haven’t tried the French fry medley you are missing out. Their hand made pastries are also amazing and the store has a wonderful selection of hard to find ingredients. The staff is always friendly and kind. Food is inexpensive and comes out fast
